Will Netanyahu demolish second consecutive US administration in ’28?

In the ’24 election Kamala Harris got a lot of votes, 75,017,613. But astonishingly, she got 6,268,841 less votes than when she ran with victorious Joe Biden in 2020, a massive 7.7% drop. Some of those missing voters selected third party. Some voted for Donald Trump. Many simply stayed home.

While there were several reasons, the one most cited was Biden and Harris’ complete support and enabling of Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had near total control over the Biden administration, causing revulsion in peace advocates and many sensible 2020 Biden voters horrified their presidential choice would engage in such an abomination.

Harris made a mistake not breaking with Biden on genocide. By a more than three-to-one margin, Biden 2020 voters who did not vote for Harris, say they would more likely have voted for Harris if she pledged to break from President Biden’s policy toward Gaza by promising to withhold additional weapons to Israel.

There was precedent for Harris doing so. In 1968 Democratic nominee Vice President Hubert Humphrey was losing badly to Richard Nixon due to massive defections from anti-Vietnam War Democrats. Humphrey, like Harris was a good soldier VP supporting his boss’s self-destructive war policies. A month before the election, Humphrey pivoted to peace in a prime time address. It closed the double digit gap but was too little too late. Had he broken from LBJ from the get go…likely no Nixon and no 5 year prolonged bloodbath under Nixon.

A little over a year into Trump’s second term, Netanyahu is at it again, sabotaging a US administration from winning in ’28. At his February 11 meeting with Trump, Netanyahu implored Trump to launch his now failed war on Iran by guaranteeing him victory in a couple of days after Israel assassinated Iranian leader Ali Khamenei.

Not only has the war failed to achieve every stated goal, it has thrown the world into economic chaos. Now every one of Trump’s 77,302,580 voters are paying over $4 a gallon to fill their gas guzzlers and soon will be paying higher prices for just about everything.

And Just like Vice President Harris who self-destructed in ’24 by staying loyal to her genocide enabling president, JD Vance is self-destructing staying loyal to his senseless, war mongering president, all due to the interference in American foreign policy of Benjamin Netanyahu.

As loyal as he is, Vance knew the war was a terrible idea. He told Trump so but once Trump decided to follow Netanyahu down the rabbit hole of lost war, Vance followed right behind. Apparently, Vance has learned nothing from Harris’ fealty to Benjamin Netanyahu in ’24.

Much can happen before the next election. But history tells that as Vice President of a lame duck President, Vance in a near certainty to be anointed Trump’s successor at the GOP Convention in 2 years.

Another near certainty? Unless Vance breaks with Trump and comes out strongly against the lost war in Iran upending the world economy, Benjamin Netanyahu will sabotage his second consecutive US administration in the ’28 election.

  1. Vance won’t learn from Harris’s mistake. The right never learn from the left’s mistakes fundamentally because they don’t see the left as anything like them. Take the last 10 years of Australian politics? The ALP lost because of the Rudd, Gillard, Rudd fiasco. So what does the LNP do? They create the Abbott, Turnbull, Morrison fiasco. But the dedicated still vote for them and would never stoop to admit it was a bad choice. They are far superior to the people who vote liberal (small L) and could never do anything wrong. When the right lose an election it’s the fault of the voters not the candidates or their policies.
A friend, a dedicated LNP supporter/member came to visit me in 2024 and exclaimed loudly midst conversation “let’s face it. The Liberal party is f**ked!” 🤯
I thought the earth was going cave in and swallow me!

  2. ‘While there were several reasons, the one most cited was Biden and Harris’ complete support and enabling of Israel’s genocide in Gaza’

I call that out as egregious BS to state the above, if you disappear all related context and frenemies?

Inferred and accepted by many in Europe, who are less gullible, that Oct 7 was politically strategic for Hamas, Gaza, Netanyahu, Trump and Putin…..or ‘manna from heaven’.

Putin was struggling invading Ukraine (nothing to do with NATO) and desperate for a breather, Biden/Dems were blocked by Congress from helping Ukraine (not helped by slow walking every request), then October 7….

Netanyahu accepted call from his pal Putin offering condolences, but refused to speak with Zelenskyy who is Jewish too?

Then Biden/Dems trying to push ceasefire or stop Israel bombing Gaza, but Biden complained that Netanyahu was a ‘bullsh*tter’ while the latter is close to Jared Kushner, the Mid East envoy linked to all players (inc mentor, Rupert Murdoch).

Trump’s and guess Putin’s ppl were encouraging no ceasefire while Democrats in the White House, as that would have benefitted Harris and Democrats campaign.

What happened? Koch Heritage and Evangelicals, using a compliant Netanyahu, to run Project Esther from 2024 with the stated aim to pummel Palestinians, the centre, universities and science, but blaming Democrats whose own Jewish base then fell for this voter suppression tactic.

Amazing, perplexing and concerning how easy it is to manipulate educated Americans of the centre driven by beliefs, conspiracies, religion and narcissism.

Locally one observes much astrotrufing some other indie media outlets, to the point that ageing RWNJs and ideological left are often in furious agreement on issues, following the same media themes.

A need for social media restrictions and education for older gens who hold power in regions, but share fossil fuel anti-immigrant and anti-centrist talking points, helping to fracture electorates and nations, see Brexit, Trump, Putin and Netanyahu?

  3. @ Andrew Smith: Surely you are not suggesting that the ZIONAZI Hannibal Directive authorised by the amoral Knesset led by Butcher Bibi was involved in a ”conspiracy against the people”??

Surely not!! Why POTUS Kraznov only chats about the weather in Florida with Vlad the Lad Putin, that could not be transmission of national American secrets??

These ”only three days” wars preferred by Vlad & TACO are oversold by Butcher Bibi because they somehow forget about ”the fight in the dog” in Ukraine and Iran.

Discriminating educators have long recognised that the American education system from kindergarten to post graduate university studies, in many institutions is very mediocre.

Yes, there are some wonderful exceptions ….. that you can count on the fingers of two hands (except if you use the Chisenbop Counting Method that extends two hands to a total of 99 fingers).
