The President addresses the crisis

As the Middle East lurches towards yet another dangerous escalation following the Israeli bombing of Lebanon and the apparent collapse of President Trump’s much-publicised Memorandum of Understanding with Iran, the world waited anxiously for the self-proclaimed leader of the free world to respond.

Would he call for restraint?

Would he convene emergency talks?

Would he seek to prevent a wider regional war?

The answer was no.

Instead, President Trump launched into a furious series of Truth Social posts tackling the issues he evidently regarded as most pressing.

The first target was the Reflecting Pool. Yes, that monument of presidential pride, the damn Reflecting Pool.

According to the President, Democrats had somehow sabotaged it. Details remained scarce, but this did not prevent Trump from conducting an urgent poll asking followers whether the opposition should be known as the “Dumocrats” or the “Dumbacrats.”

The poll served a valuable educational purpose by reminding readers that the word “dumb” contains a silent “b” – a linguistic breakthrough that may one day rank alongside the discovery of penicillin.

Having settled the question of spelling, the President turned his attention to Dr Anthony Fauci, who he accused of lying to Congress.

With that matter addressed, Trump proceeded to childishly attack Italy and its Prime Minister, Giorgio Meloni over something so petty I won’t even bother to repeat it.

As missiles flew towards Lebanon, diplomats scrambled and military planners contemplated the possibility of a wider conflict, the President demonstrated his ability to focus on what truly matters.

Meanwhile, foreign ministers across the globe attempted to prevent another Middle Eastern war while Trump’s social media feed resembled a man who had accidentally sat on the television remote and was changing channels every thirty seconds.

One moment it was the Reflecting Pool.

The next it was Fauci.

Then Italy.

Then back to the Democrats.

Then another grievance.

Then another poll.

Then another all-caps declaration that would have puzzled even the people it was addressed to.

Any observers searching for a coherent strategy would be best advised to stop searching.

The administration insists the President is capable of handling multiple issues simultaneously. No doubt that this is technically true, provided none of the issues are related to one another.

As the situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate, Americans could at least take comfort in knowing that their President remained focused on the truly important matters of state.

The Reflecting Pool.

The letter “b”.

And whatever Italy had done this time.

Future historians may struggle to explain how a superpower managed international crises during this period.

Fortunately, the Truth Social archive will provide all the answers they need.

The world may never know whether Trump’s Middle East strategy succeeded.

What we do know is that, at the exact moment events threatened to spiral out of control, the President was courageously fighting on several fronts:

against the Reflecting Pool,

against Dr Fauci,

against Italy,

and against the letter “b” for spending years hiding inside the word “dumb.”

Leadership takes many forms.

  1. Thank you for pointing out just how dum(b) the US President is. And thank you for reading his Truth Social posts so I don’t have to. It is enough that I am getting this information and interpretation through multiple sources.

  2. I was once told that there are leaders and there are managers – he is neither.

  3. Thanks, RC. I get all my stuff off of left-leaning podcasts or YouTube clips.

  4. The repellent, obnoxious, and demonstrably insane Fuckwit, posing as the answer to every problem, real or imagined,is destined for historical notoriety, displacing the worst Caesars of 2000 years ago, illustrating in real time why the neoliberal zietgiest is in it’s death throes.
The oligarchs and transnational bloodsuckers might not want to believe it, but the wheel of historical change is now unstoppable.
The damage will be, already is, immense, but nothing of worth was ever achieved easily.
I hope the fat frau of the West has her redoubt well provisioned.
