Australia applies America’s entry rules – President Trump lodges application

Passport with "Rejected" stamp and visa stamps.

In the spirit of harmonisation with our closest ally, Australia has announced it will begin applying United States–style entry requirements to all visitors under its visa waiver arrangements. Officials say the move will ensure consistency, fairness, and the collection of “any information that might possibly be useful at some point, regardless of relevance.”

Shortly after the announcement, U.S. President Donald Trump lodged an application to visit Australia.

The application was treated as routine.

Section 1: Social Media History (Previous 10 Years)

Applicants are required to declare all social media accounts used in the last decade. Mr Trump declared one platform, Truth Social, but subsequent checks revealed extensive use of X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and an undocumented system of late-night capital-letter transmissions.

A review panel noted tens of thousands of posts containing threats to imprison, deport, hang, or otherwise “deal with” political opponents, journalists, judges, prosecutors, election officials, and several entire cities. Posts were characterised by excessive capitalisation, erratic punctuation, and a persistent belief that any negative outcome constituted fraud.

Assessment note: Applicant appears prone to public outbursts, revenge fantasies, and all-caps diplomacy.

Section 2: Communications Metadata

Applicants must declare phone numbers and recent communication patterns. Analysis of Mr Trump’s phone records revealed approximately 400 calls per week to a contact listed alternately as “Vlad,” “President V,” and “Don’t worry about it.”

When asked to clarify the nature of this relationship, the applicant replied that the calls were “perfect,” “very legal,” and “the best calls anyone has ever had,” before requesting that the assessing officer be investigated.

Assessment note: Frequency and tone of communications raise concerns regarding foreign influence and susceptibility to flattery.

Section 3: Character Test

Under Australian law, applicants may be refused entry if they pose a risk to public order or safety.

The panel considered the applicant’s repeated encouragement of violence, celebration of assaults on journalists, and calls for military action against domestic protesters. Also noted were multiple findings of liability for fraud, defamation, and sexual assault, which the applicant dismissed as “witch hunts,” “hoaxes,” or “Tuesday.”

Assessment note: Applicant failed the character test, then insisted the test was rigged.

Section 4: Biometric and Scientific Information

In line with emerging international practice, the applicant provided biometric data. DNA analysis revealed a genetic composition of approximately 75% Neanderthal, 20% processed meat by-product, and 5% unidentified residue commonly found on golf carts and gold-plated fixtures.

The laboratory issued a written apology to staff involved in the analysis and requested counselling.

Assessment note: Evolutionary regression may explain behavioural patterns but does not excuse them.

Section 5: Truthfulness of Application

Applicants must certify that all information provided is accurate.

Mr Trump’s application contained multiple contradictory statements, including claims that he had “never threatened anyone,” followed two pages later by a threat to sue the assessing officer, the officer’s family, and Australia itself.

Assessment note: Applicant appears constitutionally incapable of truthful self-reporting.

Decision

After careful consideration, Australian Border Force has refused the application.

In its formal notification, the Department thanked Mr Trump for his interest in visiting Australia and confirmed that the decision was made in accordance with established entry requirements relating to character, public safety, foreign interference, and the applicant’s demonstrated inability to distinguish between personal grievance and reality.

The Department further noted that Australia does not grant visitor visas to individuals who have repeatedly threatened violence, encouraged insurrection, undermined democratic institutions, or shown a pattern of behaviour suggesting they might attempt to overthrow the host government if disappointed with the weather.

Mr Trump was advised that the decision is final.

He was also advised that shouting “RIGGED” at the decision, in capital letters, would not alter the outcome, nor would the use of social media, lawyers, press releases, or a press conference held in the car park of a landscaping business.

Australia wishes the applicant well in his future travels, wherever they may be permitted.
