  this is no satire, mere poetry, no bang or longing whimper ease.

Disney spat, flipperty-flap, mockingbirds sing like fools who rue the day,
  pity sweet land of liberty for she will swipe their freedoms away.
Miss American pie, I wonder if your apples scream and decay?
  I took a bite when she made out the world was flat and there (thank God) we have it.

But you will never get an apology for wars that were can be,
  big boys, bricks and bombs, graves of lies never ending, stars that none can see.
Brave words x-men shout, society the comic flare dead poets wear,
  all things great and small, Hollywood, milk and honey let’s banish them all.

Twelve in awe you Judas call, you kill the thing the world is looking for,
  just hang me up, spin me round, pay your debt and I’ll (so) be on my way.

Give America Some Slack – When Hope Is Dashed

When America starts to sound like its enemies…

And who wouldn’t express that deep fear, mere ‘rhetorical flourish’ and irony, of Trump’s (MAGA) USA, if not USA itself when it comes to war crimes and genocide in Palestine, and slack policy of gun control domestically in the face of regular US carnage on their own children. Not that we can easily dismiss what America now sounds like – Russia in Crimea, Donbas and Ukraine.

But let’s just stick with the sick bombing of Gaza for now, the apoplexy – Israel’s war baby (infanticide)? The bombing of Gaza, widespread apartheid and occupation of the West Bank, Palestine as good as annexed for decades like Crimea (and USA has done no favours for Ukraine, though they boast otherwise with bleeding refrain, storming their own narrative with hacks, lies, spies, hypocrisy and wilful abandonment… oops!), an historical racist nationalist ideology and narrative with blind eyes and excuses, quite literally turned into acts of war and terrorism on a nation denied nationhood since 1948 and far earlier, when Israel was given theirs, not theirs to be given.

As if the US hasn’t had it’s private evil eye and greedy global narratives on Middle Eastern resources for years, now turns on Greenland and Canada (oh we are just prospecting, putting it out there, rhetoric, symbolic, we can call it metaphor or gentle intimidation, defence against Russian or Chinese interests – not that any have been spoken… ooops again!). We are told Trump is all words and punitive insults, but Trump’s rhetoric is non-arguably very literal, demented, malicious, vengeful, he invariably acts on it and now commands all three US ‘separation of powers’ at whim, unfettered by Congress sycophants – This is what we see.

So all this ‘gunboat diplomacy’, the Trumpian trade wars and all happening every day thanks largely to the big boys, USA and Israel, and ‘bad boy’ Russia; or perhaps I should temper that – just their governments, or maybe Godwin would have it, just Trump, Netanyahu and Putin, but plainly we all see that this is not so. These bullies are after all just paper weight democracies, fakes, warped totalitarian States denying the evidence every day – ‘Flats inhabited when Israel bombed them’ or a thousand other references we could post to bore, numb and dumb this down a little further. How many billions do these three spend on ideology and propaganda in/on Mainstream, Social Media and Internet to make sheep the world over scramble under barbed wire fences unbeknowing.

The non-poetic rhetoric and vague objections go something like this, be bold and burn:

‘What I don’t get is the sheer bloody cruelty and genocide – This is terrorism not war, mass war crimes. What I don’t get is how we are subjected to America’s experience of 9/11 year after year, now 24 years ago when 2,977 people died (tragic thus let’s not dismiss) – we know precisely how many and have been told about it many times. Yet America not only turns the blind eye and looks away on Israel’s persistent genocide, but enables it, supplies it, weaponizes Israel’s ideology and Zionism, its excuses and justifications for defence, war and inhumanity (all conflated), ditching any shreds or hope of true justice for ‘October’ 10/7 (another parallel tragic not dismissed) – I guess therein is the hard wired, symbolic act and deeply misrepresented victimhood (USA-Israel), like twin brothers in wounded arms from across the Atlantic Ocean, which clearly they are not. And the global irony and injustice, people from Palestine had no play in this but suffer 9/11 every day’.

‘So Trump or USA (I know not which or how to disentangle them) bans Palestinian delegations from entering USA to attend the UN, while continuing to unconditionally provide the bombs, bullets, guns, weapons and instruments of mass destruction to defend Israel’s ‘honour’ or its own, the very same entanglement and indefensible. This many (2,977) Palestinian civilians, women and children have been murdered every month for 2 years by the American war and weapons industry, ‘the American people’ (another entanglement) – Israel does their bidding, and we know not who they are (these Palestinian men, women and children) or even if the number given is anywhere near the true masses who have been, and are still being massacred. And how many more are maimed, an entire country and its people demolished by American weapons, another holocaust – shame, brutal, ignorant, ‘evil’ hyperbolic, off the planet USA?’

America is no different from Israel, ipso facto State sponsored terrorists, but they call it war and trade, basic foreign policy, self-defence, anti-terrorism, and lie to the world – no justice here. Most of us call it mass murder and genocide on a scale America has no concept of, hence no accountability, conscience or remorse – get thee behind me and over there by the cliff. Imagine 9/11 every day in America – for this is what it is.

Haven’t we seen enough already, that in the face of dismissing or diminishing these horrors, we excuse, we become apologetic and deaf to war and genocide, refugees and suffering, and blind again to the rise, indifference and abuse of totalitarianism just 80 years since World War 2, and like a short-period comet another day fast approaches 21 years since 9/11, we face such loss of memory, resolve given way to hypocrisy.

When hope is dashed –
  Here we are, we said
‘never again’, ‘never again’
  yet here we are.

And we let this MAGA country control, host, insult and undermine our very own United Nations Assembly, founded on 24 October 1945 in San Francisco, where Trump just recently deployed the Home Guard, and not the first nor last time. USA and Israel defy and block the United Nations, 193 countries including their own, of which 147 recognise Palestine as a sovereign State, and more will come – France, Britain, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Portugal and Malta – at the 80th General Assembly of the UN from 9 September 2025. But according to one source only to date it may no longer meet in New York, but Geneva – because the USA can’t be trusted, responsible or impartial. Little do we wonder why – but do the International Middle East Media Centre know more than anyone else is telling or has Trump pulled out another hideous dystopifantabulacious you wouldn’t believe, or may be you would, but it’s never happened before secret weapon?

  Oh what fools we are,
we are but fools to give
  America the slack.
