President Donald Trump is contemplating yet another oil war, who’dda thunk it, from the amoral, corrupt, money grubbing mammon-worshipping president?
Trump is trying to “Wag the Dog,” to sleep walk the U.S. into a Latin American regime-changing war in order to distract America from the “Epstein Files,” like it’s the 1970s again.
A geriatric senile demented malevolent, curmudgeon grump, always looking backwards.
The 60s and 70s were Trump’s heydays, when America was propping up Latin American dictators all over the place.
Trump is figuratively re-living those heydays in his demented fantasies.
It’s a pity he doesn’t feel the same part of the Cold War where America was fighting the Soviet Russian menace around the globe; the reason for propping up Latin American right-wing dictatorships, to counter the “red menace” or he wouldn’t be selling out NATO, Europe and Ukraine.
A short synopsis of the plot of the 1997 movie Wag the Dog:
“The president of the US is caught in a sex scandal a few days before the elections. To avoid media outburst and public outrage, a Presidential aide, constructs a fake war against Albania.”
An actual case of life imitating art, coincidence?
Is Trump trying to start a war to distract America from the Epstein Files (a sex scandal)? Is Trump trying to fix his rapidly collapsing support in the opinion polls in a vane attempt to save the Republicans from what is shaping up to be an electoral rout at the Midterms?
Is Hegseth on the ropes, with talk of ordering a “War Crime,” shooting the survivors of an air strike on an alleged Venezuelan drug running boat?
This Venezuelan campaign is also considered highly questionable on Geneva Convention and Law of the High Seas grounds.
Has America sunken so low that an amoral, rank opportunist corrupt President is willing to commit war crimes or start a politically rank opportunist war, in order to save his regime from defeat at the hands of the American people at the ballot box?
It’s all a bit 2000 or naughties Putin’s Russia and Chechnya, if you ask me.

It’s usually about Oil !
The proven oil reserves by Country will give a clue to why Trump wants a regime change in Venezuela – it may also explain why he wants Canada as the 51st state.
Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves on the planet, followed by Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Canada. Other countries with significant reserves include Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Russia.
Trump sees it as his legacy to seize the oil reserves of Venezuela before the Chinese are able to muscle in.

Why do Australian politicians instantly evolve into obsequious sycophants when criticisms of our alliance with USA arise? No discerning Australian citizen would willingly seek security from a nation that constantly foments regime change in Latin American nations, bombs Iran, a nation that is no threat to USA, supports Israel in its genocidal obliteration of the Palestinians, refuses to abide by rulings of the International Court of Justice, protects Israel from every UN resolution, is not a signatory to the Law of the High Seas Treaty, supports the corrupt Zelensky regime in Ukraine, has established forward military bases encircling Russia and China, maintains a military/intelligence presence beyond Australian executive control at Pine Gap, is attempting to displace the legal government of Venezuela, has applied restrictive trade tariffs to almost every other nation, has bombed and murdered occupants of small boats in the Caribbean Sea, conducted futile and deadly military invasions of Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Iraq (again). Is that enough to raise concerns about how, over the past 50 years, USA really views the human rights of non-US citizens? Do you really think that despite Australia’s military becoming subtedly “blended” into the US war machine that the US will defend Australia in a time of global conflict? I think not! Trump is not constantly repeating “make America great again” solely for the benefit of the World.
