As horrific as the Minnesota shooting today was, the wall to wall mainstream media coverage adds no value whatsoever to creating an informed public. It actually does the opposite, keeping the masses clueless on the more urgent stories that should be shouted from the mountaintop.
Case in point is the US-enabled Israeli genocide in Gaza that has been scrubbed from appearing on these worthless media outlets. They are in full cooperation with the Israeli and US governments to censor any coverage that might create a firestorm of mass outrage to possibly derail the most grotesque genocide tag-team match in history. To that end Israel has slaughtered over 200 journalists trying to bring the genocide to public awareness.
Mainstream media feasts on America’s signature claim to domestic crime infamy, mass shootings, to avoid any mention of America’s signature claim to international crime infamy, enabling the extermination of every last Palestinian in Gaza to expand Greater Israel.
Mainstream media should use as their mission statement a riff on the NY Times’ famed claim… “All the news that’s fit to suppress.”
