The IDF (Zionist Israel) illegally hunted down the Flotilla just north, off the coast of Egypt in international waters throughout the night and early morning of Thursday 2 October 2025, under cover of darkness. The Italian, Spanish and Turkish naval vessels retreated in international waters the night before, long before the flotilla reached even close to national maritime borders, and were abandoned; closest to Egypt, then Gaza which is officially part of Palestine, not Israel – but illegally occupied, bombed and raised to dust and rubble while Palestinians are hunted like caged rats, nowhere to go to avoid the mass slaughter, genocide and starvation.
Egypt did nothing, Italy did nothing, Turkey did nothing, Greece did nothing, Spain said their citizens in the flotilla would be given diplomatic immunity, as if. In Italy the people came out on the streets and called for mass strikes disgusted with their government. Around the world every other government and nation turned a blind eye rabbiting on in diplomatic tongues and nonsense like Easter bunnies diving up and down their holes – Australia did nothing, the office unmanned in time of need, the world did nothing. Only the people of the world in most nations stood up and shouted ‘that is enough’ and took to the streets, only for their respective police forces to treat them like criminals and naughty children – truncheons in the ribs, stabbed in the back – blood, sweat and tears.

Aboard the flotilla, people – nay humanitarian envoys from 44 countries ran the evil Israeli gauntlet, the dark menacing horse of our times, riding the apocalypse. USA, the West and mainstream media (Western Press) kick up a fuss, block and fart in our face when China mans and patrols the South China Sea, Trump patrols the Caribbean, the ha ha wall he calls ‘Gulf of America’ with greedy eyes on Greenland, but when Israel claims the international waters of the East Mediterranean invading and blockading other territories, slaughtering children like tomorrow never existed with American weapons of mass destruction, the West and the world, led by our hollow governments, batten down the hatches, and duck down their rabbit holes in apoplexy for fear of getting their heads chopped off, their tails pulled or their bums slapped. Meanwhile Putin rides bareback in the Black Sea on testosterone and Deadly Nightshade, and Crimea gets annexed too.
This is what our world has come to – the people protest peacefully, assertively, relentlessly and continue to be ignored. Yesterday, 2 October 2025 we witnessed the absolute cowards our governments and nations represent, while our leaders line their pockets, expect us to pay them homage, and they rip us all off with fake hollow democracies, each searching for their own noble prizes.
The people’s flotilla was hunted down by the Zionist Carnivore dressed in sheep’s clothes in the middle of the night humming and howling antisemitic hymns and overtures in silent stealth and defence, yeah but – the shepherd abandoned the flock that feeds them. Christ (whichever hill you climb) I think the shepherd gave up his profession long ago, and that is why we have never heard from him since. Yes God must have been male while Mother Earth weeps. Are these still not the times of pathology and patriarchy, the Anthropocene? More fundamentalist and devoid of moral reasoning and compassion than ever we were before – religion, profit, politics, power, weapons, all going nuclear down those dark dungeonite rabbit holes – damn them all. We are all the poorer, limbless, lifeless for them.
Netanyahu and his tribe will face the consequences for his crimes, Trump too – Bang or whimper… we’ll see. But yesterday was a cracker for the colosseum. Next show on the road – Trump and Netanyahu’s Punch and Judy show on the Beach of Gaza. The 20 point Gaza Peace Plan to deny every Palestinian their life and destiny, the lies and hypocrisy we all swallow like a poisoned pill. The sycophants are counting buttons in their parlour, gather round praise and flatter the master. It works, just ask Putin after he’s pulled the plug. Oh, Albanese how could you?
I am disgusted by ‘humanity’, our governments, our nations, our leaders – every last one of them; I am inspired only by the lonely people, the humble people, the empathy, the compassion, the imagination of the ordinary people. And the Global Sumud Flotilla… our covenant and sacrifice, we thank you for your simple courage, your honesty and carrying our hearts to Gaza and back again.

It seems that the Israeli forces and their government were prepared to go to war on the high seas rather than allow a small quantity of aid to get into Gaza. The international escort accompanying the flotilla diplomatically and, in my opinion, prudently backed off thus avoiding an international incident.
Once again, the Israeli forces can boast that they prevented infant formula reaching malnourished and starving babies and all this on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, observed with strict fasting and ceremonial repentance – ironic in the circumstances.

Yes Jon, you are right to be outraged by this. Those who have called for debate about this have been giving succour to a sadist, homicidal, genocidal regime from the beginning. Israel not only bombed civilians, but almost immediately cut off water and medical supplies to Gaza, destroyed sanitation facilities and severely restricted food supplies. Debate about the obvious genocide was not needed, action was needed.
The only person of any integrity in Labor was Fatima Paymen. Labor and the Liberals’ have literally acted criminally in regard to the Israeli holocaust – they have aided and abetted a genocide.
Adam Bandt recognized what was happening and tried to amend Albanese’s bill in support of Israel in mid Oct 23, by adding ‘stop the bombing’ and remove ‘Israel has the right to defend itself'(it has no such right in Gaza and that has been used as a cloak by Israel to commit ethnic cleansing for over a century) from Albanese’s bill – the Liberals and Labor not only voted against stopping the bombing they demonized those opposing genocide and passed laws aimed at suppressing dissent.
Where have our unions been during all of this? I tip my hat to those who have marched against this holocaust.
Meanwhile on the Australian ABC News service the top headline is about a terrorist murder of 2 Jews attending a Yom Kippur service in Manchester UK. No doubt a terrible incident that is occupying the Manchester police. The report included interviews of bystanders, relatives and Jewish folk in Australia decrying the governments lack of action in ensuring safety in the streets for Jewish folk.

Also in the same news bulletin but way down the list was report of an Islamic residential boys college building collapse in Indonesia in which 100+ Indonesian boys were killed by the falling building but without further commentary!
Just shows me the influence of outsiders in determining what the ABC news editor’s priorities are.

I do recall how the expression “conspiracy theory” entered the vocabulary to counter stories that would not stand up otherwise.

I can’t speak about the ABC over the past almost 6 months because my newsfeed has been severely curtailed (at one stage reduced to thenewdaily and aap – absolute torture, thank God for pearls and irritations; on the bright side I found this website; to the editorial team I don’t mean to be freeloading its a similar story with my ‘working’ account with which I pay bills and make donations.)
Prior to that our ABC showed a distinct bias against Palestinians. There was almost zero reporting on what was happening in the West Bank despite frequent and significant newsworthy occurances. It was as if it was verboten to mention the West Bank.
Further, any reporting on Gaza used language that covered for Israel, for example Isreal didn’t “kill people” they “struck targets”.
What’s more, the ABC deferred unquestioningly to whatever the IDF or Israeli government said, as if it were a reliable source, despite both the IDF and Israel being constantly caught out lying. Yet, what Hamas said was frequently qualified.
The last ABC article I remember was on a prisoner swap and referred to Palestinian prisoners as terrorists (the term Israel uses) without mentioning that the military court these people were subjected to would not cut muster anywhere else in the world, where cases last around 4 minutes and are conducted in Hebrew not Arabic amongst a litany of problems.
It also demonstrated a distinct anti-Greens bias.
It is important that we have an independent, fearless national broadcaster. Our ABC is no longer that.

If I understand this correctly then the Australian government is surruptiously sneaking vital parts for Israel’s killing machine from the RAAF’s parts stock onto commercial flights to bypass the usual hubs and scrutiny. If it is true,it not only bypasses Australia’s legal obligations, transporting weapons/parts on a commercial flight puts innocent, unsuspecting civilian lives at risk – that would be psychopathic.
If declassified can prove it, then Marles and Albanese should be referred to the ICC.Or better still they should be tried here for crimes against humanity.
Is it any wonder Labor nobbled the NACC, tried to allow outgoing ministers to literally shred, ie. destroy documents, the evidence of what they’ve been up to, hide behind semantics on weapons vs. parts, and to nobble our freedom of information laws to keep the Australian public in the dark, to hide everything they do from us?
The Greens and Independents have fought for greater transparency and integrity in government, Labor just treats the Australian public with utter contempt.

Yes Harry, it is easier to find areas where Labor is essentially the same as the Coalition, where the difference is just one offering to go further to the bottom or where the difference is a matter of changing the window dressing, than essential differences.
There is more essential difference between Labor and the Greens, where the Greens are pretty well what Labor represented under Gough Whitlam.
Labor and the Coalition serve corporate elites, and themselves; the Greens and Independents serve the people.
