Let’s not forget the marches in every capital city of Australia last year, the march Chris Minns tried to ban across Sydney Harbour Bridge, the continued solidarity of the Australian people, and last Sunday when the Zionists once again weaponised another Sydney icon. Why can’t we just accept it, our government, be it Labor or LNP, lives in fear of the Jewish lobby! It was an uplifting day. Anti-genocide protestors were buoyed by support from runners at the Sydney Marathon….
But it was the sheer number of ordinary runners who showed their solidarity that took us by surprise. They clapped us as they ran past. They raised fists and peace signs. They filmed us. They reached across the barriers for high fives.
They shouted “Free Palestine!” And we cheered them even harder….
Further along the marathon route, activists from Eastern Suburbs for Palestine had gathered at Anzac Parade. Their experience included more abuse from Zionists – placards ripped from hands and thrown to the ground, swearing and hostility.
But they also reported countless high fives, fists in the air, peace signs, cries of “Free Palestine” and expressions of thanks from runners who had come to Sydney from all over the world.
If you voted Labor ahead of more progressive alternatives at the last election, when you talk to your grandchildren, do you tell them “find yourself a psychotic, thieving murderer to team up with, and if you can make money from brutalizing and murdering people, all the better?
I’ve lost it with Labor. Short of a miracle, never again.

Have also responded to CEO Sarah Schwartz’s response and thank you message. We are in this pickle together. The 2nd link in references gives more of an overview of other initiatives. The JCA only formed about two years ago and sadly our government has been communicating with the wrong bodies – the die hard Zionist lobbies and ECAJ who they erroneously view as representative of the Jewish communities and a peak body – they are more an elite and exclusive business and political entity with close ties to Israel and straddled with Zionists. And then we have Minns colluding with the ZFA, among the worst, divisive, privileged, elitist and most malicious of these bodies.
We are absolutely playing into Israel’s Zionist racist hatred and propaganda if we don’t make the effort to connect and support the ‘friendly’ non-Israel and government aligned bodies but the genuine and diverse Jewish diaspora in Australia. It is the same principle we must observe with the Muslim diaspora also – they need our support and understanding as much as we need them. We live and want a multicultural society, so we must stop the fundamentalist, political and corporate factions from the splitting they do. Our governments have not learned that lesson, they are totally befuddled, clumsy and in the pockets of the perpetrators, divisives and splitters trying desperately to maintain their grip on privilege and power. They do not want democratic and meaningful dialogue between Jewish and Muslim peoples who have historically related well, and they don’t want other diaspora, indigenous, Asian, European and generational Australians to get on with them either – it defeats their agenda.
Our western culture in modern times have been easily polarised by the extreme ideologies, politics, wealth and prejudice of radical minorities and right wing bigots. Labor is like a lost bear in all this and the Liberals, Nationals and One Nation are a total dysfunctional lost cause blinded by their own prejudices, privilege, ignorance, boofheadedness and fringe minority and divisive monoculture – shades of Australia white policy. Like Trump they are happy to see Israel beat the hell out of its neighbours, so they play the same games.
There can be no peace in the Middle East till we recognise the right of both Palestinian and Jewish to live side by side with equal rights, sovereignty and power. And we must at the very least model this in our own country, we are all Australian, we all chose to be here and we must learn to live together and educate our government. Stand up to the bullies wherever they are. Israel will deny us this because that does not fit their ideology and world view, so they interfere and manipulate us while they destroy their neighbours and themselves and ‘eat their young’.
We must build bridges and from what I’ve seen most Australians get this and have made a stand. It’s our governments and both major parties that refuse to accept this and come clean with us. With the exception of the Australian Greens, moderate and progressive independents and senators like David Pocock we face the poker faced dead wood snobbery and prison walls of Party and career politicians and impotent leadership, having already seen off the grossly incompetent and corrupt. It is time for a renaissance not more of the same.
