When the spotlight on your own past grows uncomfortably bright, the oldest trick in the political playbook is to hand the audience a flashlight and point it somewhere else. On November 14, 2025, President Trump did exactly that – directing the Department of Justice to investigate Bill Clinton and other Democrats’ ties to Jeffrey Epstein, just days after newly released emails put Trump’s name back in the frame. What looks like a crusade for transparency smells like classic misdirection: a high-stakes game of “I am guilty, but hey, look over there.” In an era where Epstein’s ghost still haunts the powerful, this isn’t just politics – it’s performance. And the audience, whether cheering or jeering, knows the script all too well.
Let’s break it down. In a Truth Social post that lit up the internet like a bad fireworks show, Trump announced he’s directing Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI to probe Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to a roster of high-profile Democrats and institutions: former President Bill Clinton, ex-Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman (a major Dem donor), and even JPMorgan Chase. He framed it as uncovering “what was going on with them, and him,” complete with claims that these folks spent “large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island.’” The DOJ quickly fell in line, with Bondi tapping U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton to lead the charge. Trump even tossed in a teaser: “Stay tuned!” as if this were a Netflix docuseries rather than a potential weaponisation of the Justice Department.

Now, why does this scream deflection? Timing is everything. This bombshell dropped just days after House Democrats released thousands of pages of Epstein’s emails from his estate, which explicitly mention Trump multiple times – including one referring to him as the “dog that hasn’t barked” and noting an alleged victim “spent hours at my house” with him. Suddenly, with bipartisan pressure mounting for the full release of Epstein’s DOJ files (including a House vote looming on a petition Trump himself has dodged), he flips the script: Don’t talk about my old Palm Beach pal Epstein – let’s drag Clinton (who flew on the Lolita Express 26 times) and his crew through the mud instead. It’s like accusing your neighbour of speeding right after getting pulled over yourself.
This is no more than a blatant pivot to shield his own documented history with Epstein, whom he once called a “terrific guy” who liked ’em “on the younger side” before banning him from Mar-a-Lago (or so the story goes).
To be fair – and because I’m built for truth over team guernseys – Epstein’s web does ensnare plenty of elites on both sides. Clinton’s ties are infamous (he regrets ‘em, per his camp), Summers emailed Epstein into 2017, and Hoffman’s donor status makes him a juicy target. If this probe uncovers real dirt without political cherry-picking, great – sunlight’s the best disinfectant. But Trump’s track record (wishing Ghislaine Maxwell well, anyone?) and the one-sided naming of Dems suggest it’s more about score-settling than justice.

So while you are at it Pam just check out whether or not you can make a confirmed link between a certain eastern Mediterranean nations’ intelligence services and ANYONE mentioned by name in the so-called Epstein files. That is the most important question to be answered.
Ah yes, the rogue’s gallery. Whether it’s Dems, Repugs, lawyers, princes, bankers, real estate developers, academics… the list is long and ripe for exposure. For far too long, the so-called ‘elite’ and ‘upper-echelons’ of American society have acted with impunity, seemingly safe and above & beyond the reach of the law, and operating from within that illusive mindset, have acted in ways criminal that would see lesser minions packed off to the big house for years, should they be found guilty of the same behaviours.
Schadenfreude beckons, as do the inevitable karmic consequences for very bad behaviour, such as the tragic & sordid treatment of Virginia Giuffre.
And whilst yer at it Pam, please bring forth when, what and how the CIA & FBI knew, along with the intelligence/security services of other countries, in particular the UK.
May as well have a really big bonfire.
