The Branch That Reaches Across Oceans – How Zionist Lobbying Has Reshaped Global Politics
“The branch is not the tree. The tree is still standing. And the tree – the tree is justice.”
Dedication: To my wife – who taught me that the branch is not the tree, and that the oldest patterns are the ones we refuse to see.
The Branch That Reaches Across Oceans
The “Greater Israel” project is not a secret. It is not a fringe fantasy. It is being marketed in London, in Montreal, in New York – real estate roadshows advertising properties in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. The UN Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices warned in November 2025 that “Israel continues to expand its presence and control of territory in Palestine, Syria and Southern Lebanon,” and that Israel’s “constant claims to a borderless ‘Land of Israel’ are incompatible with a just and lasting peace.”
This is not merely a Middle Eastern conflict. It is a global project – one that relies not only on military force, but on an extensive apparatus of lobbying, financial influence, and the suppression of dissent in Western capitals.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman warned that the “Greater Israel” project poses dangers not only to neighbouring countries but also to Europeans: “Even the Europeans are not safe, because the Zionist regime does not hesitate to openly declare its colonial and racist ambitions in forms such as ‘greater Israel’.” Whether one accepts the Iranian framing, the fact that the project is cited by adversaries as a casus belli indicates that it is not a secret.
The scale of political interference is not unique in spirit – it is an extension of historically brutal colonial behaviours, morphed into a new scale in line with modern communication systems. The Roman Empire bribed Germanic chieftains. The British Empire divided and ruled India. But the contemporary Zionist project operates within a rules‑based international order that was supposed to prevent exactly this kind of extraction.
And it operates with the active complicity of Western governments – not because they are powerless, but because their political systems have been captured.
The Machinery of Influence: AIPAC and the American Political System
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is the most visible node in a vast network of lobbying organisations that influence US Middle East policy. A 2024 academic study published in the Hasanuddin Journal of Strategic and International Studies found that “the AIPAC lobby is deeply rooted in US policymaking structures, ranging from vice‑president, and higher‑echelon staff, to parliament members.” The study noted that since 2021, AIPAC has expanded its activities to include direct participation in political campaign contributions, effectively buying access to the highest levels of American government.
The study’s conclusion is stark: “Such overly foreign influence on national policymaking has the potential to harm America’s long‑term relationships and interests in the Middle East if the US can’t make the barrier for foreign interference toward its national interests.”
This is not a fringe argument. Ilan Pappé’s comprehensive study, Lobbying for Zionism on Both Sides of the Atlantic, documents how “over a century of aggressive lobbying changed the map of the Middle East.” Pappé details how pro‑Israel lobbies convinced British and American policymakers “to condone Israel’s flagrant breaches of international law, grant Israel unprecedented military aid and deny Palestinians rights.” Anyone who questioned unconditional support for Israel, “even in the mildest terms, became the target of relentless smear campaigns.”
The mechanism is not subtle. It is the same mechanism that has always operated in systems where political survival depends on campaign contributions. The donor class – in this case, a network of Zionist organisations and aligned right‑wing groups – buys influence. Politicians who comply receive funding, electoral support, and protection from primary challenges. Those who dissent are targeted, smeared, and often defeated.
This is not a conspiracy. It is a system.
The Silencing of Dissent: Academic Freedom Under Attack
The suppression of criticism extends beyond electoral politics into the realm of ideas. A 2024 academic paper in the journal Milel ve Nihal examines how “political lobbying, financial influence, and allegations of antisemitism are strategically employed to establish a cultural hegemony that determines what discourse is acceptable” in US universities.
The paper, titled “Zionism and Academic Hegemony: The Intersection of Power, Knowledge, and Suppression in the United States Universities,” draws on Michel Foucault’s theory of power‑knowledge and Antonio Gramsci’s concept of cultural hegemony to analyse how “Zionist organisations influence higher education frameworks, research priorities, and public discourse.” This manipulation, the paper argues, “serves to marginalize, silence, or delegitimize critical perspectives that oppose or challenge Israeli policies and actions, especially those related to the occupation of Palestinian territories and human rights violations.”
The paper provides specific examples, including the rescinded job offer to Professor Steven Salaita at the University of Illinois following his criticism of Israel’s genocide in Gaza on social media. The case is not isolated. The paper documents “additional examples including the suppression of pro‑Palestinian viewpoints and the punishment of students and faculty who advocate for Palestinian rights at various prominent U.S. institutions.”
The paper concludes that “Zionism’s influence is not limited to isolated cases but creates a widespread atmosphere where academic freedom is restricted.” Universities, “meant to be pillars of free thought and critical inquiry, increasingly become arenas where dissent is suppressed and ideological conformity is imposed.”
The weaponisation of antisemitism accusations is central to this strategy. Criticism of Israeli government policy is routinely conflated with hatred of Jews. The effect is to chill debate, to intimidate critics, and to protect the settlement enterprise from scrutiny. As one reviewer of Pappé’s book noted, the strategy involves “cracked down on dissent in the Labour Party, and relentlessly smeared critics.”
The Australian Connection
The pattern is not confined to the United States and the United Kingdom. Australia has its own history of Zionist lobbying and political interference – a history that remains largely unexamined in mainstream discourse.
The Australian example is particularly instructive because it reveals how the machinery of influence operates even in a country geographically distant from the Middle East, with no historical responsibility for the conflict, and no strategic interest that would justify the degree of alignment with Israeli policy.
The mechanisms are similar: campaign donations, community lobbying, and the weaponisation of antisemitism accusations to silence critics. Australian politicians who question Israeli policy face organised opposition from Zionist organisations. The media environment is shaped by the same dynamics of donor pressure and editorial alignment.
The result is a foreign policy that is not in Australia’s national interest – AUKUS, the uncritical support for US Middle East policy, the silence on Israeli atrocities – but is dictated by a donor class whose primary loyalty is not to Australia.
This is not a fringe observation. It is the conclusion of the same structural analysis that applies to the United States and the United Kingdom. The only difference is scale.
The Geographic Safety Nets
The “Greater Israel” project is not merely ideological. It is infrastructural. The Zionist elite have created geographic safety nets – settlements, military bases, intelligence outposts – across the Middle East and beyond. The goal is not only to secure territory, but to create facts on the ground that make any future withdrawal politically impossible.
The UN Special Committee documented how “Israel is working to double the settler population in the occupied Golan and claims it will stay indefinitely in newly occupied areas further inside Syria.” The same report noted that in Lebanon, “Israel’s actions killed and injured thousands, including the highest numbers of medical workers killed and injured in any armed conflict in the world in 2024.”
These are not merely military operations. They are colonisation.
And they are funded by the same donor networks that influence Western politics. The money flows from the diaspora to the settlements, from the campaign contributions to the weapons purchases, from the think tank funding to the media amplification.
The circle is closed. The extraction is complete. And the victims – Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian – pay the price.

The Historical Precedent
Political interference in one sovereign state by another is not unique. It is part of human history. The Roman Empire bribed Germanic chieftains to secure its borders. The British Empire divided and ruled India through a network of client princes. The Cold War was a constant exercise in proxy manipulation.
What is unique is the scale – and the hypocrisy.
The post‑WWII rules‑based international order was supposed to prevent this kind of interference. The United Nations, the International Court of Justice, the Geneva Conventions – all were designed to create a framework in which might would not make right.
But that order is now “under destruction,” as the 2026 Munich Security Report bluntly stated. As one analysis noted, “the rules and institutions comprising the rules‑based international order are today being undermined by the very countries that created the system.”
The war in Gaza has become a breaking point for the rules‑based order. As a Chatham House analysis observed, “with Israel’s military bombardment of Gaza, this order is facing perhaps its most daunting and most stubborn challenge – global perceptions of hypocrisy.”
The International Court of Justice has recognised its prima facie jurisdiction to investigate Israel for carrying out genocide in Gaza. But the ICJ’s orders are ignored. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants. They are ignored. The UN Security Council is paralysed by the US veto.
The system does not work – not because it is inherently flawed, but because the powerful have refused to apply it equally.
As one commentator noted, the rules‑based order “was established by the victors of World War II to manage relations between states based on shared principles of human rights and international law.” But “with Israel’s military bombardment of Gaza, this order is facing perhaps its most daunting and most stubborn challenge – global perceptions of hypocrisy.”
Palestinians and their supporters are the ones pushing for these institutions to call out double standards by Israel’s allies and hold them to account. This has become a defining moment for the future of the current international settlement.
The Western response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – united, resolute, armed – stands in stark contrast to the response to Israel’s assault on Gaza. The double standard is glaring. And it is not unnoticed in the Global South.
The Conflation of Religion and Colonialism
The conflation of a religious belief with a colonial ideology is one of the most effective propaganda tools of the Zionist project. Judaism is a religion. Zionism is a political ideology. The two are not identical. Yet criticism of Zionism is routinely labelled antisemitism – as if questioning the Israeli state is equivalent to hating Jewish people.
This conflation serves a strategic purpose. It immunises the Zionist project from critique. It delegitimises any questioning of Israeli policy. And it allows the lobby to mobilise accusations of antisemitism against anyone who threatens the consensus.
The strategy is not new. It has been refined over decades. And it has been extraordinarily effective.
But the conflation is a lie. And lies – when they are exposed – lose their power.
The Economic Dimension: Donor Capture
The vulnerability of political systems to donor capture is not unique to the United States. It is a feature of any system where political campaigns are privately funded. The Zionist lobby has mastered the art of leveraging this vulnerability.
The mechanism is simple: identify politicians who support Israeli policy. Fund their campaigns. Protect them from primary challenges. Reward them with access, prestige, and post‑political employment.
Politicians who criticise Israeli policy face the opposite treatment. They are targeted. They are smeared. They are defeated.
The result is a political class that is structurally dependent on Zionist donor networks. Not because individual politicians are corrupt – but because the system incentivises compliance.
This is not a conspiracy. It is a structure.
What Is to Be Done?
The Zionist lobby is powerful. It is well‑funded. It is disciplined.
But it is not invincible.
The first step is transparency. Citizens have a right to know who is funding their politicians, what interests are being served, and what the costs are – not only in dollars, but in lives.
The second step is accountability. Donor influence should not be a secret. Campaign finance laws should be strengthened. Foreign interference – whether by nation‑states or by transnational lobby groups – should be prohibited.
The third step is solidarity. The Palestinian cause is not a niche issue. It is a test of the entire rules‑based international order. If the powerful can violate international law with impunity, the system is not a system. It is a façade.
The fourth step is education. The history of the Zionist lobby is not taught in schools. It is not discussed in mainstream media. It is suppressed. That suppression must end.
The fifth step is courage. Politicians who stand up to the lobby will face attacks. They will be smeared. They may lose their seats. But they will have their integrity. And integrity – in a system that has lost its moral compass – is the rarest currency of all.
Conclusion: The Branch Is Not the Tree
The Zionist lobby is a branch – not the tree. It is powerful, but it is not omnipotent. It is well‑funded, but it is not invincible. It is disciplined, but it is not eternal.
The tree is the rules‑based international order. The tree is the principle that all human beings are entitled to dignity, to security, to life. The tree is the belief that might does not make right.
That tree is not dead. It is not even dying.
It is waiting.

The US house of representatives has passed the NDAA (National Defence Authorization Act) with section 224 intact.
Section 224 would require the Pentagon chief “to designate an executive agent responsible for synchronising cooperative efforts between the United States and Israel”.
That official would be in charge of overseeing several joint initiatives, “including bilateral defence technology research, development, testing, evaluation, integration, and industrial cooperation”, the NDAA reads.
Critics have raised concern that Section 224 may make US military aid to Israel more opaque, concealing the assistance as cooperation rather than a separate expense.
The measure also risks tethering the US military to its Israeli counterpart technologically at a time when the American public is rapidly turning against Israel, according to recent public opinion polls.” (Al Jazeera)
This section melds the US and IDF, it will allow aid to Israel to be hidden and weapons transfer between the two forces without the public knowing.
AUKUS will join us at the hip with not only the US but Israel. Labor will have Australia a part of genocide and never-ending aggression in the Middle East, and very likely elsewhere.
Under Labor, the only hope for Australians to avoid being a part of a genocidal psychopathic military that loves nothing more than piracy and genocide, depends on the US Senate defeating this bill.
The Zionist lobby is on the nose to the US public. AIPAC is beginning to be a millstone rather than a necessity. The Israel lobby has had to ‘rename’ PACs to funnel money to its compliant candidates. Section 224 will remove the need for AIPAC.
Has anyone heard Penny Wong or Anthony Albappeasey even whisper the word GENOCIDE?
‘Clusterfuck’ is the word that comes to mind. The tangled webs of opportunistic relationships that bind American, Israeli, British, Australian interests along with a raft of European countries is a devil’s compact, tightly woven, beneficial to all who are within the weave, and unlikely to be undone in the foreseeable future. A network aided and abetted by an MSN majorly under control of Jewish money whether here, America, Britain, Europe… the principal goal is to stay on message, demonise all opposition, keep funding and supporting all those in hock to the Zionist lobby and never, ever, admit responsibility for the barbarous atrocities committed in the pursuit of their goals.
This is what happens when we have a zeitgeist where the majority of individuals and players are without conscience, without remorse, without the capacity for reflection or consideration, where an ethical or moral base or foundation is lacking.
From the article — This is not a conspiracy. It is a system.
In 1844 Karl Marx explained the thought behind that seemingly preposterous statement.
He wrote a critique of The Jewish Question by Bruno Bauer, 1843.
It’s worth a look.
https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1844/jewish-question/
From Marx — Judaism has held its own alongside Christianity, not only as religious criticism of Christianity, not only as the embodiment of doubt in the religious derivation of Christianity, but equally because the practical Jewish spirit, Judaism, has maintained itself and even attained its highest development in Christian society. The Jew, who exists as a distinct member of civil society, is only a particular manifestation of the Judaism of civil society.
Judaism continues to exist not in spite of history, but owing to history.
The Jew is perpetually created by civil society from its own entrails.
What, in itself, was the basis of the Jewish religion? Practical need, egoism.
In that passage “the Jew” is an abstract concept that is created within and by a system based on liberal economic theory, that is, the system known as “civil society” in the time of Marx.
Or “bourgeois democracy”.
Or today, “the liberal order”.
From Marx — Money is the universal self-established value of all things. It has, therefore, robbed the whole world – both the world of men and nature – of its specific value. Money is the estranged essence of man’s work and man’s existence, and this alien essence dominates him, and he worships it.
In that passage the problem is not the Jew.
The problem is those who allow money — the estranged essence of their work and existence — to dominate them and to become an object of worship.
Marx — The god of the Jews has become secularized and has become the god of the world. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange…
The Zionists have seized on this flaw in Western values and are exploiting it to the full, knowing that any pushback will be only for show, as the movers and shakers of the liberal order have only admiration for the lessons well-learned by the Zionist lobby.
As Andrew asserts — this is the system working as it was designed to work. Andrew was referring to Zionist lobbying and influence within Western societies, but it applies equally to the liberal order as a whole.
The Zionists have merely taken the liberal order to its natural conclusion.
Thank you Dr Andrew; a must read essay for all eligible Australian voters.
At the next Federal Election, which existential threat will the the voters consider most important:
1. Israeli interference in Australian governance?
2. The AUKUS project?
3. Australia’s foreign policy ties to USA?
4. Pauline Hanson and One Nation?
Sadly on these issues there is no difference of policy between ALP, Lib/Nat or PHONP.
That leaves us with the Greens and Independents.
Oh what a mess we are in!!
I’ve always been horrified by the Nazi atrocities of the 1930s-40s: However as Netanyahu targets Gaza, Lebanon and Iran with US impunity, I really wonder what the Zionists have done over centuries to bring this hatred about! I had many Jewish friends in my 20’s and 30’s and none of them inferred this fascist right-wing Neo-Nazist attitude which is appearing globally under Patriotic/Nationalistic, Far-Right schisms’ of Sovereign citizenship. Just remember the Civil War quote “Patriotism is the last refuge for a scoundrel”!
I agree, Patriotism is bound in greed, self-interest and hatred of others! And yet others are now wiping my dear Dad’s bum in Dementia Care!!!! Thank you to the others willing to take the work, you lazy patriots are too selfish to do a decent day’s work!!!!
Neo-Nazis reign supreme: But noone is willing to work for a wage!!!!
Where are the decent workers, we are all willing to pay a decent wage for?
Trumpists are the lazy assassins of our ancient Democratic principles. The lazy Low-IQ, uneducated F-Tards will happily destroy our Democracy for the promise of a Candy-Apple!
WHY ARE OUR CITIZENS SO FUCKING DUMB????
If Democracy and its purpose: Freedom For ALL; has no value in this age; then we have a real problem to deal with.
If AI is all our civilisation is looking forward to, then we citizens of Planet Earth do not have much to look forward to.
Without any mention of Nature, I’m pretty sure that Humanity has no real future…..
Why is every emotional sentiment suddenly worth a Corporate dollar? What the Fuck has happened to Civilised behaviour? WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REALISE THAT CORPORATE BEHAVIOUR IS not IN YOUR/OUR personal INTERESTS?
What does it take, to realise you are being screwed by Corporate vested interests, you dumb F-Tards???!
Wake up you dumb idiots!!!
Regardless of what Trump and Albanese says: Our Planet is still suffering under Global Warming: Seriously Dickheads; what are YOU actually planning to do?
NATURE! Nature is all we have left! How are we treating Nature right now?
NATURE is our Supreme Power. Does anyone disagree?
It seems a grim paradox that we are having a Royal Commission into antisemitism at the same time as reliable reports are coming from Gaza that Palestinian boys are being shot in the testicles as “target practice” by Israeli Defence Force personnel.
Professor Nicholas Maynard from Oxford University Hospital is treating Palestinian boys in Gaza with gunshot wounds he believes were caused by deliberate targeting by Israeli soldiers. The objective it seems is to prevent them from breeding.
Professor Nicholas David Maynard is a British surgeon who works as a consultant gastrointestinal surgeon at Oxford University Hospital. He is also known for his humanitarian works in Gaza, having taken many trips to the region between 2010 and 2026.
Another excellent objective analysis of world political order from Dr Andrew Klein. Thank you for putting into logical text my long-evolving thoughts about the ZION@ZI problem.
There are at least two outstanding Jewish leaders in Australian history who were also Zionists.
The first chronologically, Isaac Isaacs, a talented, articulate, lawyer from Beechworth Victoria who also believed in eugenics with an enormous passion. He was personally responsible for the ”policy” of ”breeding out” Aborigines who he believed were ”lower than a chimpanzee”. His impact occurred at the Australasian Conferences for forming the Australian Federation 1891,1893,1995 & 1897 where his advocacy AGAINST voting rights for Aborigines was documented in the official minutes. So, all Australian women would receive the vote, but all Aborigines, including in SA where the vote was granted about 1892(?), were disenfranchised.
The matter was contested up to the High Court of Australia about 1906 where Isaacs, sitting as Judge Alone, ruled against the franchise for Aborigines. Thus the legal foundation for about 70 years of horrendous racially vilifying government policies was established and conducted until the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 passed by the Whitlam LABOR government.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Isaacs#:~:text=Isaacs%20was%20Australia's%20first%20Jewish,first%20Jewish%20Governor%2DGeneral%20of%20Australia.
The second was General Sir John Monash CB, 4th Infantry Brigade AIF, landed ANZAC Cove 26 April 1915, victor at Messines and Villers-Bretonneux due to the intricately detailed planned mass attack focussing all armament bombardments on a single point reducing casualties to a minimum.
Post-WWI Monash was an embarrassment to the Establishment because of his military successes and multiple talents.

There are few books about these individuals because the Australian publishing industry of that time was not interested in their many achievements on racial grounds; the same fate befell Zelman Cowan after his rise to Governor-General of Australia through being an eminent legal scholar, VC at two universities (UNE & UQ) plus Governor of Queensland.
@ Mark Shields: Your fragmented but connected rant identifies the basic problem that has struck the world known as ”neo-liberalism”, the pre-cursor to corporate domination of human-kind.
Societies older than the current American mess had already identified the need to control wealth and maintain a narrow distribution of community wealth before American corporations flourished from the late 19th century.
In those often lost societies, the Musk-SpaceX investment bonanza would have been discouraged as obscene because the community was ignored in the amassing of that wealth, and the deprivation that had occurred by doing it.
If the USA (Undemocratic Sewer of Apartheid) can raise a trillion dollars on an IPO then why cannot the American government legislate for universal free health care, properly funded state education and the supply of domestic services to every household in the country??
The depth of penetration of American government by Zionists was initially encouraged by President Harry S Truman (1945-1953) as a reaction to the German Holocaust, possibly remembering that some US banks had invested heavily in Germany 1933-1945. This excused the 1948 Nakba dispossession & displacement of Indigenous Palestinians by Zionist terr0rists that has continued subsequently to, and in, the current US + Israel v Iran war to establish ”Greater Israel between the river and the sea” while protecting Butcher Bibi from prosecution for alleged political corruption.

Thommo’s note above about ”[t]he US house of representatives has passed the NDAA (National Defence Authorization Act) with section 224 intact” is relevant because it attempts to insure the never-ending (in perpetuity) supply of American military hardware assistance to Israel at all cost to the US Taxpayers.
By 2000, the ZION@ZI lobby has become entrenched in all significant levels of US government, and I assume that has only increased over the past 25 years.

Oops!! Edit – apologies. Isaac Isaacs was anti-Zionist.
From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Isaacs#:~:text=Isaacs%20was%20Australia's%20first%20Jewish,first%20Jewish%20Governor%2DGeneral%20of%20Australia.
”Isaacs was 81 when his term ended in 1936, but his public life was far from over. He remained active in various causes for another decade and wrote frequently on matters of constitutional law. In the 1940s he became embroiled in controversy with the Jewish community both in Australia and internationally through his outspoken opposition to Zionism. His principal critic was Julius Stone.[17] Isaacs was supported by Rabbi Jacob Danglow (1880–1962) and Harold Boas. Isaacs stated that Judaism was a religious identity and not a national or ethnic one. He opposed the notion of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Isaacs said “[p]olitical Zionism to which I am irrevocably opposed for the reasons which will be found clearly stated, must be sharply distinguished from religious and cultural Zionism to which I am strongly attached.”[18]
Isaacs opposed Zionism partly because he disliked nationalism of all kinds and saw Zionism as a form of Jewish national chauvinism—and partly because he saw the Zionist agitation in Palestine as disloyalty to the British Empire, to which he was devoted. Following the King David Hotel bombing in 1946, he wrote that “the honour of Jews throughout the world demands the renunciation of political Zionism”. Isaacs’s main objections to Political Zionism were:
“A negation of Democracy, and an attempt to revert to the Church-State of bygone ages.
Provocative of anti-Semitism.
Unwarranted by the Balfour Declaration, the Mandate, or any other right; contrary to Zionist assurances to Britain and to the Arabs and in present conditions unjust to other Palestinians politically and to other religions.
As regards unrestricted immigration, a discriminatory and an undemocratic camouflage for a Jewish State.
An obstruction to the consent of the Arabs to the peaceful and prosperous settlement in Palestine of hundreds of thousands of suffering European Jews, the victims of Nazi atrocities; and provocative of Muslim antagonism within and beyond the Empire, and consequently a danger to its integrity and safety.
Inconsistent in demanding on one hand, on a basis of a separate Jewish nationality everywhere Jews are found, Jewish domination in Palestine, and at the same time claiming complete Jewish equality elsewhere than in Palestine, on the basis of a nationality common to the citizens of every faith.”[19]
Isaacs said “the Zionist movement as a whole…now places its own unwarranted interpretation on the Balfour Declaration, and makes demands that are arousing the antagonism of the Muslim world of nearly 400 millions, thereby menacing the safety of our Empire, endangering world peace and imperiling some of the most sacred associations of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths. Besides their inherent injustice to others these demands would, I believe, seriously and detrimentally affect the general position of Jews throughout the world”.[20]
In his later years, Isaacs became embroiled in legal battles with Edna Davis, the wife of his brother John. He forced her out of the family home, reclaimed her wedding ring which she had pawned, and finally had her declared a vexatious litigant.[21]
Isaacs died at his home in South Yarra, Victoria, in the early hours of 11 February 1948, at the age of 92. He was the last surviving member of Alfred Deakin’s 1905–1906 Cabinet. The Commonwealth government accorded him a state funeral, held on 13 February, and he was buried in Melbourne General Cemetery after a synagogue service.[22][23]
Well done, Cocky, in reconsidering Isaacs, who retained a mind of brilliant possibilities partly formed or set and which could be a resource for his regular shifting pronouncements. It seems diificult to pin such a mind down, as it seethed and renavigated, by legal training and unfathomable instincts. Australia has had few minds of high level.
There is history, but in plain sight are the modern symptoms of the fossil fuel Koch Heritage Foundation and Evangelical’s Project Esther for Netanyahu, Trump and Putin from ’24, post Oct 7 ’23.
Seems modeled on the Weimar era NSDAP attacks on the ‘cultural Marxism’ of the Frankfurt School; to pummel Palestine (supporters), the centre, universities, science and the enlightenment.
Bigger objectives seemed about giving Putin a breather in Ukraine, his chum Netanyahu a war to avoid court and corruption charges, while suppressing the Harris/Democrat student vote including Jewish, for Trump to prevail….
It has been cited by some in indie media, but either misunderstanding or misrepresent, in their rush to also attack and blame the centre….. like the RW MSM
On Isaacs, Cowan and Monash, by coincidence they all went to the same elite, but liberal, Scotch College in Melbourne; was populated by many Christian &/or Jewish white Russian heritage, with Hebrew and Russian on curriculum for that reason.
In recent years RW MSM led by NewsCorp, that reeks of FoxNews MAGA white Christian nationalism purporting that it is on the side of Judaism, while Bolt had complained about ‘foreigners in Caulfield’ and Fox Board’s Abbott with Andrews et al did a coal stunt promoting the ‘Monash forum’, without the family’s approval?
It’s also observed how it’s high profile hard right white Christian nationalists who are doing all the talking about Jews and/or Muslims, but often using the antisemitic and Islamophobic megaphone X?
Not unrelated to Abbott’s offshore ecosystem in Hungary where a decade+ ago internal messaging within PM ‘mini Putin’ Orbán’s Fidesz Party, media, supporters etc. had to ensure they avoided any public anti-semitic statements.
However, Islamophobic and anti-immigrant agitprop was fine in anticipation rolling out the ‘Soros conspiracy’, cooked up by former GOP trained aides to Netanyahu, Finkelstein and Birnbaum, drawing on ‘the great replacement’, ‘The Protocols..’, ‘cultural Marxism’ of the Frankfurt School and ‘Camp of the Saints’; agitprop also targeted EU, Von Leyen, Ukraine’s Zelinskyy, Democrats and the left.
Uhm ….. Another edit ……Apologies.
”Cowan” and Cohen” are correctly Zelman ”Cowen”.
