Are There Any Nazis Left Or Are They Right?

Sussan Ley recently referred to Nazis as “left”.

This one of those frequent things that certain people on the right side of politics…

Now when I say “the right side of politics”, I’m not suggesting that they’re right, just that they’re on the right… which doesn’t make them right even though they think it does.

Anyway, because Nazis had the word “socialist” in their name, it’s been argued that they were socialists and therefore on the left side of politics. The absurdity of this position has been pointed out by reminding people that North Korea has the name “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” but that doesn’t mean it’s democratic. Similarly, the Liberal Party has been a constant source of confusion to Americans on social media – particularly the ones who attack them for being liberal when – like many politicians – the only thing that’s liberal about them is the fact that they’re liberal with the truth.

Anyway, it was rather confusing after that because, when challenged, the unstoppable Sussan doubled down by loosely quoting Humpty Dumpty from “Alice In Wonderland” who told us that a word meant what he said it meant so whatever…

Of course, recently Ms Ley told us that Ukraine was being attacked by the USSR, which is confusing because Ukraine was part of the USSR so does this mean that it’s being attacked by itself or did she just confuse USSR and Russia?

Speaking of a country that’s being attacked by itself, did you see the video of the “domestic terrorist” who managed to accelerate from a reversing gear and gain enough speed that she was going so fast that he couldn’t step out of the way but not so fast that he didn’t have time to draw his gun and fire several shots, the last of which were at the side of the car in case she found a way to move it sideways and pose an even bigger risk to his life. Apparently he was taken to hospital but footage seemed to show him walking away, so is this just because the ambulance was more concerned with the dead woman than a man who – according to Trump – was “run over” by the car.

I guess I shouldn’t be too cynical about the USA. For all I know they may arrest Anthony Albanese for not calling a Royal Commission soon enough… or for calling one with the wrong terms of reference… or for not supporting the takeover of Greenland when it’s clear that any country with a green government is left wing and therefore socialist and therefore Nazis…

Just ask Sussan…

And if Albo is arrested and taken to the USA, then we’ll have Trump running the country from afar and telling us that there’ll be a peaceful transfer of power just as soon as someone gives him what he wants which, in Australia’s case, isn’t clear. I mean, María Corina Machado got the Nobel Peace Prize and she can offer it to him and he can say, “I really deserved this, so you can now be President of Venice’s Whaler which is where all the drugs come from… and oil, lots and lots of oil… which some say comes from Whale blood but I don’t know, I don’t know… whatever Venice has a lot of it and they also stole my Peace Prize so now they’ve given it back, they can be in charge until I fire someone like I used to on ‘The Apprentice’… that was the highest rating show ever by any American president… Lincoln never got ratings like that… Washington… I don’t know I think the shows were in black and white back then and they stayed that way until Lincoln freed the colored and we had color tv so we could see the moon landing which some people say never happened but… I don’t know, I don’t know…”

But back to Sussan… I think that she’ll come out tomorrow and tell us that she agrees with someone that Albanese got the RC thing all wrong and he should ask the Jewish people what they want…

Of course, if a journalist were brave enough to say that one of them named Josh wants to take her job, she’d say that she finds that deeply offensive…

She wouldn’t say that it isn’t true; she’d just say it’s deeply offensive…

Mm, that reminds me of something.

    Spot on Rossleigh.

  2. Oh dear Rossleigh, now that I have stopped chortling at your reported antics by Silly Sus$san the Miss Leader of the Opposition, perhaps I can comment on your excellent post.

I fear that you are playing with semantics & language that are above the skill level of our present intrepid Murdoch Mainstream Media Manipulators.

Well, how else can you explain the scribbler indifference to independently organised mass rallies across America that protest against the actions of the current demented POTUS? Catch them every night on the English version of Germany’s ”DW News” and the French ”France News 24” television programmes on SBS 25.

Truly it may be said that Ray Bradbury (1953) ”Fahrenheit 451” accurately described the fatal attack on Renae Good, while George Orwell (1949) continues to document world politics in ”1984”.
