President Trump has a bizarre way of demonstrating his claim of being the Peace President deserving the Nobel Peace Prize.
He spent his first term raining down tens of thousands of bombs on seven countries posing not a whit of danger to the Homeland. He assassinated a top Iranian general in Baghdad, a monstrous war crime. He withdrew from Obama’s Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) which silenced Iran’s nuclear bomb potential and should have ended the isolation of Iran. Instead, it set the table for Trump’s senseless, now failed war on Iran eight years later that may crash the world economy if not ended soon. That is madness.
Trump’s obsession with murder and mayhem worldwide has collateral damage to every sensible domestic function of government. Trump has spent 10 years trying to demolish Obama’s Affordable Care Act, a relatively meager improvement to America’s failed health insurance system to the less fortunate. He hasn’t spent one dollar to fix it. He’s ignored our crumbling infrastructure. He’s invested zilch in green energy while the world overheats relentlessly.
But Trump sure has invested in war. His last term one National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) budget in 2021 was a massive $740 billion. His first in term two for 2026 crashed the trillion mark by $42 billion. But mimicking Al Jolson in “The Jazz Singer,” Trump proclaimed “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” His 2027 NDAA sours to $1,500,000,000 – a 44% increase. Combined with massive tax cuts for the billionaire class, Trump’s profligate military spending has goosed the national debt by $10 rillion in his first six years.
While silent about spending on the Commons to improve life for all Americans, Trump is ecstatic about his trillion and a half bucks for endless wars. “We’re fighting wars. We can’t take care of day care… It’s not possible for us to take care of day care, Medicaid, Medicare – all these individual things They can do it on a state basis. You can’t do it on a federal.”
To paraphrase first predecessor Obama, “Yes you can…yes you must.”
On April 7, 1967, exactly one year before he was gunned down, Rev. Martin Luther King courageously spoke out against the Vietnam War at New York’s Riverside Church, ahead of a massive antiwar rally. In “A Time To Break the Silence,” King decried, “A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.”
Under Donald Trump’s endless, senseless wars… America’s spiritual death is here.

Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that he is without a soul…or a conscience.
No soul or conscience, Harry? Trump is a bowellodging beast, brainless, gutless, heartless, Epstein cursed, sanity challenged, a pot of filth. And, this latest shooting session stinks of rigging, scripted setup machinations.
Now Phil Pryor, you are too kind to TACO Trumpery, the man for whom everything he touches turns to manure.
But then in the guise of Krasnov he is destroying the western democratic world without launching a drone in anger. Vlad the Lads will be very happy, such a good investment in Epstein style pics.
Trump has called on Iran to make a peace proposal that is satisfactory to him: they have made two proposals and he has rejected both.
Trump with Netanyahu started this war with a surprise attack on 28 February. Trump has prevailed in eliminating the leadership of Iran, decimating their army, navy and airforce.
In all respects Trump has prevailed. Surely it is now for Trump to set the proposals for peace (which must include getting Israel out of Lebanon) agree these with Iran and ideally have them ratified by the UN and the international community. No more threats, no more band-standing, no more surprise attacks and no more assassination of leaders..
Is there another way?
To repeat: Trump is insane.
The only thing The Donald is really interested, obsessed would be a better term, in is cash by the literal tens and, no doubt, hundreds of millions flowing into his bank accounts. The common oiks barely rate as pocket coins compared to the .5% at the top of the pyramid that are happily prepared to bribe (we’re way past “donations” now) him.
Trump set out to restore fossil‑fuel supremacy and ride it to political heaven. Instead, his Iran war and ensuing oil shock have exposed just how dangerous that bet really is. In trying to double down on the old order, he may have accelerated its unraveling – almost an ultimate defeat, with the system stumbling, half by accident, onto the alternative‑energy path he never intended.
How much did they pay an intelligent man to pull that diversive shooting stunt, basically to take the eye away from the Epstein Files and the catastrophic global effects the majority are suffering due to his unwinable Middle East War?
It should be remembered Donald J Trump is the face and voice of the USA, They elected him, they pay him and they worship him, after all, he is going to make their country great again. What could be better than that?
Typical of narcissists, they will do whatever suits their own mindless imperative.
The revolt that should be happening now is a refusal to spend one more dollar on destruction and divert that towards fully funding renewal energy, cleaning the garbage out of the ocean, reducing the impacts of fossil fuel damages and repairing the land environments, beneficial farming in lieu of industrialized models and bring communities back to being supportive communities.
Yes, doing some things the old ways because that’s what it will take, it took the planet billions of years to produce the bounty that has been destroyed by Corporations and failed collective memory.
The younger ones coming up now will learn by doing and observing and understanding the meaning of stewardship.
