After several breathless days of online hysteria, we can confirm that President Donald Trump is, regrettably for some and joyously for others, still alive. The social media frenzy, fueled by wild speculation, dubious “sources,” and Vice President J.D. Vance’s cryptic assurance that he was “ready to be president,” has turned out to be nothing more than propaganda wrapped in conspiracy and sprinkled with wishful thinking.
For a moment, America seemed to split into two camps: those rushing to their keyboards to write tributes that suspiciously sounded pre-prepared, and those already planning the national holiday. Meanwhile, QAnon channels began circulating reports of Trump’s resurrection before he had even died, claiming he would reappear on the third day at a golf course near Mar-a-Lago.
The chaos reached such a pitch that White House staff were forced to clarify the obvious: the President is alive, well, and still tweeting at 3am. To prove it, Trump himself phoned into Fox News, reportedly shouting, “I’ve never felt more alive! In fact, I may be the healthiest man in history, maybe ever. Doctors say it’s a miracle, a tremendous miracle.”
Vice President Vance, whose “I’m ready to be president” comment was taken by some as confirmation of Trump’s demise, now insists he was merely referring to the line of succession, a Boy Scout badge, and his ability to microwave popcorn without supervision. Still, it was enough to ignite fevered speculation across social media that America was witnessing its first silent coup.
In the end, the entire episode may go down as the world’s most bizarre stress test of the internet’s collective sanity. People who could not agree on the weather suddenly agreed on one thing: nobody actually knew what was happening.
And so, after days of digital mourning, candle emojis, and half-baked eulogies, the nation has returned to normal. The President remains very much alive, the Vice President remains very much ambitious, and social media remains very much broken.
Mark Twain once quipped that reports of his death were greatly exaggerated. Donald Trump, never one to let Twain have the last word, has now improved upon the line:
“Reports of my death were fake news. The fakest. Nobody dies better than me, but I’m not dead. In fact, I may never die. People are saying it.”
So, let’s raise a glass to the resilience of rumour mills – and to Trump’s apparent immortality – because in this circus, the show must go on!
Dear reader, we need your support
Independent sites such as The AIMN provide a platform for public interest journalists. From its humble beginning in January 2013, The AIMN has grown into one of the most trusted and popular independent media organisations.
One of the reasons we have succeeded has been due to the support we receive from our readers through their financial contributions.
With increasing costs to maintain The AIMN, we need this continued support.
Your donation – large or small – to help with the running costs of this site will be greatly appreciated.

You’d just about made my day. Pity.
We live in hope …..but do not expect too many changes before the 2028 POTUS elections when (at this time)TACO Trumpery is ineligible to run for the position. Sadly Shady Vance will likely be worse …..
Can we call JD Vance ‘VD’ hereon? Much more befitting the line of succession to one such as Trump, to be as infamy might have it a younger venereal mutation. As for Trump, as fate would claim a ‘lesser man’, he probably should have died of it. How cruel is fate that he should infect the internet, our ears, humanity every day, like the COVID pandemic he famously denied.
If he’s so “fit and healthy” why aren’t the press allowed to get near him? Do we have any footage of him supposedly playing golf? None that I’ve seen. The few photos I have seen leave me with a sense that he’s suffered a minor stroke. He’s frail and appears to be in a parlous state of health.
Don’t be surprised if we see virtually nothing of him in the media for some time except for a few posts, The one attached reads like someone doing a bad impression of The Donald.
