Donald Trump: officially stupid

This slipped under the radar in early March, but social media has finally made it beep loud and clear.

During his State of the Union Address, President Trump claimed that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), had identified that the Biden administration spent $8 million on “making mice transgender.”

This is real,” he said. His fellow Republicans lapped it up.

That the Biden Administration never did provide funding for making mice transgender makes the president look stupid, especially when you consider that:

“It turns out that the bizarre line from Trump’s speech was actually about the use of transgenic mice to study the safety of hormone treatments often given to transgender people (and that, not the use of mice, is what the administration objects to). Transgenic mice are mice with modified DNA, which biomedical researchers use to study how genes impact disease [Alzheimer’s disease, asthma, diabetes, heart disease and Parkinson’s disease] and health, or how human diseases and organs might respond to medications.”

Trump confused the two. Yes, he is stupid.

But the story doesn’t end there. This prompt, blockbuster announcement from White House made it official:

Yes, Biden Spent Millions on Transgender Animal Experiments

Last night, President Donald J. Trump highlighted many of the egregious examples of waste, fraud, and abuse funded by American taxpayers, including $8 million spent by the Biden Administration “for making mice transgender.”

The Fake News losers at CNN immediately tried to fact check it, but President Trump was right (as usual).

FACT: Under the Biden Administration, the National Institutes of Health doled out millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded grants for institutions across the country to perform transgender experiments on mice.

(The links provided by the White House are a bit suspect, in my opinion.)

Anyway, I’ll get to the point: If Donald Trump says something stupid and the White House makes it official, does that make Donald Trump officially stupid?

Now the elder statesman (hah) continues in ultra wilful fixation, error prone and irrational. Is there a treatment? Do we really deserve an unfixable shower of shit, lies, fumbles and mumbles? Freedom is no Trumpery…

  2. Kerri, given the idiots in the Trump administration I would suggest that’s an official “YES”.
