A bit of history…
No US senator loves America’s senseless wars more than Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
And Graham loves no US war more than the current US enabled Israeli genocide in Gaza. Graham observes the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, near wholly financed by the US, and recently declared:
“When we were faced with destruction as a nation after Pearl Harbor, fighting the Germans and the Japanese, we decided to end the war by the bombing [of] Hiroshima [and] Nagasaki with nuclear weapons,” Graham said. “That was the right decision.”
He added, “Give Israel the bombs they need to end the war. They can’t afford to lose.”
This is not new genocide support territory for Graham. During the Biden presidency he used the same Japanese atomic bombing analogy in blasting Biden for threatening to withhold weapons from Israel if it launched a military operation in Rafah where a million Palestinian civilians were sheltering.
In a just world Graham would be referred to the International Criminal Court for a war crimes investigation. As an influential government official having the ear of President Trump, he is fervently promoting the ongoing genocide of over 2,000,000 Palestinians in Gaza to its grisly completion.
The Senior Senator from South Carolina has truly earned his damning moniker ‘Ghoulish Graham’.

Senator Spray of Pox is an enemy of fact, reason, law, decency, resolution. There was a legal Palestine up to 1947-8 but the weakened and gutless British betrayed the people , along with others who took money, caved in to influence, wanted the jews gone and collected elsewhere. So, murderous and thieving zionism hacked out and invented a land, which should not exist as it is. Rotten lifedestroying superstition has done it, for there is no god, none, none ever seen, no proof, appearance, photo, signature, DNA, files with CIA and KGB, etc. thus, no promised land, no chosen race, no supremacist triumphal crime. L. Graham should disappear up his own fundament, like a self curing haemorrhoid, gone from ridiculous posing and ignorant lying.
One wearies of the endless clamour emanating from America that endeavours to claim that what the Israeli government via the IDF is doing is actually good & proper.
Tiresome that politicians, media, opinionistas and several million on social media sing the same swinish tune: Palestinians brought this on themselves. This is their fate. Israel has no choice but to behave this way. All Palestinians are Hamas, and yes, that means old men, women, children also. They hate the Israelis, therefore they must be eliminated.
Where are the concerted voices, apart from those with consciences still active and attuned to the horrors confronting them, where are the voices that could bring this carnage to an end and begin the essential task of prosecuting the butchers & murderers?
No-one disputes that the actions of Hamas on October 7 2023 were evil, but equally so, and tenfold more-so, are the actions of the IDF and its enabler, the Israeli government. To deliberately target young children in the crosshairs of the scopes and put bullets through the heads of these young children is incomprehensibly evil and any association of that behaviour with the atrocities perpetrated on the Jews by the Germans in WWII is appropriate and accurate.
How rotten this world has become. Is there no end to man’s inhumanity?
US Republican Senator Lindsay Graham is an odious, self justifying fool who unfortunately abuses the ethical authority of his electoral mandate in order to broadcast his Zionist view of American exceptionalism. That he continues to reign supreme since 2003 tells me that his public persona, philosophy and political performance reflects the desires and aspirations of those who support him. That is a sad indictment for the folks of South Carolina, however Graham is not alone as practically the entire US Senate continues to applaud Netanyahu and his murderous IDF in their genocidal quest to eliminate the entire Palestinian population.
Is there a more useless US politician that Lindsay Graham, from “Suth Kaoline”or his mates in Texas or “Floidah”.
The outlook of people like him during the Obama years suggests reqsons for the appalling events in Palestine.
Wonder, if Lyndsey thinks about the word ‘war’??
I doubt if ‘war’ with a powerful nation whose armed forces were all conquering and whose homeland was unable to be invaded is comparable with ‘war’ where an experienced well equipped army invades a country with no army and kills 10s of thousands of muslim women and children?
Sadly, xstians, with a massive guilty conscience from murdering millions of jews, rejoice at the murder of muslims, whom they fear. Just like the septics who were so fearful of the japanese that they used the bomb to kill the maximum number of inhabitants. Then, before the the news of one bomb killing 70 000 people could be verified, the murderous frightened septics bombed Nagasaki.
@ wam:
As we approach the 80th anniversary of the nuking of Nagasaki, one might wonder who the real murderers are.

Herbert,
Thank you
I have copped heaps from clpers for years with my views on the atrocities and stupidities of the septic army, in the 3 major wars of my life.
All my friends believed the outright bullshit films of ww2 septic exploits, led by john wayne, a non participant, that were shown, in our theatres, for all my youth. These friends could dismiss the Ho Chi Minh and vietnam history with the french. They could ignore the septic arming him against the japanese. They were not affected by the betrayal when the yanks gave vietnam back to the frogs. They ignored the result of Dien Bien Phu when the french were defeated and lauded the septics joining the war keeping the struggle going for another 20 years till the yanks were eventually defeated.

Trump is just a product of, justice and the american way.
@Wam
Thinking is hard and sometimes lonely work, as is the action it sometimes implies.
Interesting that the American Western should become a metaphor for the military superiority of the Western world.
During those post-war decades, the patriotic macho heroics of ‘Truth, Justice and the American Way’ must have satisfied a war-weary, emotionally exhausted people’s craving for pap and bedtime stories promoting ideas of the US as both saviour and moral paragon of the world remote from the sufferings of other nations, even first nations inside their own country where genocide was normalised. Movies prepared the ground for imperialist, racist propaganda to take root in the psychological spaces where critical thinking and a healthy scepticism may once have flourished naturally.
In our war-like world traumatic denial is hard-wired in our psyches as much as our infantile need for reassuring messages. So American movies continued their occasional role as the ultimate cultural/political propaganda machine, where cinema-goers could dreamily lose themselves in confected versions of history rather than acknowledge the horrors of fact, should they manage to penetrate the materialistic exuberances of everyday life, let alone its drudgeries.
Fast forward to the bread and circuses of Trump’s Fourth Reich and its collusion with the unspeakable atrocities of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, now embedded in the broader context of cynical global politics and a fatal lack of international opprobrium and unified action. Feeding into this hideous quagmire of inaction are the quasi-delusional hopes of many for a permanent peace and certain trauma-related compulsions to deny ideologically-challenging reality – as if the methodologies of prosecuting that ‘peace’ were not now incontrovertibly genocidal.
At what point does wishful thinking align with sinister pro-Israeli propaganda? When does defensive denial become full-blown hypocrisy? Sometimes it feels okay to lump things into the too-hard basket when feeling powerless, and instinctively turning away from images of the murderous savagery meted out upon a defenceless people and their starving children is only natural, sometimes respectful, and even good self-care, but averting one’s eyes for a day or two is quite a different thing from allowing it to congeal into a permanent attitude in denial of the ever-mounting facts.
For many with historical skin in the game it may be far less painful to deny even witnessed truths in favour of comforting new stories or old shibboleths, especially if acknowledging them threatens to trigger a total cognitive-dissonance collapse.
