Continued from Part 1
Recap:
Since being appointed Leader of the Opposition in 2022 – a role in which he has shown utter incompetence – Peter Dutton has repeatedly masked his own failures by resorting to the classic Liberal tactic of deflection: “Hey, look over there!” while pointing the finger at Anthony Albanese and his government.
Dutton has blamed a broad array of problems on their leadership, cautioning about dire consequences if they stay in office. According to him, everything is their fault. Yesterday I published a rundown of his grievances do date that I’d located. Today we have his:
Warnings of What Will Go Wrong if Labor Is Re-Elected
Economic Decline and Higher Costs
Dutton has consistently warned that Labor’s economic policies will lead to higher inflation, interest rates, and living costs. In June 2022, he predicted that Labor’s wage increases and higher spending would stoke inflation, a claim he reiterated throughout 2024 and 2025 as living standards declined. He topped it off with warnings, that if re-elected, the Albanese government will walk us straight into a recession. (Has anybody told him that Trump might play a part in that?)
Energy Price Increases
In June 2022, Dutton warned that Labor’s renewable energy focus would fail to lower power prices by 2025, a prediction he still maintains as energy bills continued to rise.
Weakened Border Security
In 2022 – and a number of time since – Dutton cautioned that Labor’s immigration policies would lead to more illegal boat arrivals, a trend he claimed was already evident with the arrival of boats from Sri Lanka. And of course, a Labor victory in the May election would open the floodgates. Sound familiar? It’s one of the LNP’s favourite prophecies of doom and portrays Dutton et al as modern-day Hanrahans; “We’ll all be rooned if the boats don’t stop.”
Increased Antisemitism and Security Risks
In 2025 he warned that Labor’s weak leadership on antisemitism and national security would lead to more incidents, pointing to the Dural caravan incident and arson attacks on synagogues as evidence of Labor’s failure to act decisively. Such warnings will be a daily occurrence – you can mark them in your diary – if Labor retain office.
Loss of Business Viability
In April 2025, Dutton warned that Labor’s policies, such as axing the Instant Asset Write-Off, would continue to hurt small businesses, predicting further insolvencies if Labor remained in power.
Erosion of Healthcare Access
In April 2025 he claimed that re-electing Labor would exacerbate the healthcare crisis, with declining bulk billing rates making it harder for Australians to access affordable care. He made that one up, surely.
Continued Division
Throughout 2024 and 2025, Dutton framed Labor as divisive (pot, kettle, black), warning that re-electing Albanese would lead to further national division, particularly on cultural issues like Australia Day and responses to the Middle East conflict. More fabrication? Or maybe quietly hoping that he’s right and can hop from his “Albanese’s fault” to “I told you so.”
Total Count
Dutton has blamed Labor or Albanese for at least 10 distinct issues since 2022, ranging from economic mismanagement to national security failures. He has also issued 7 specific warnings about what will go wrong if Labor is re-elected, often overlapping with his criticisms (e.g., economic decline, energy prices, and security risks). Combining these, Dutton has made at least 17 distinct claims – either blaming Labor for current issues or warning of future problems under their leadership.
Critical Perspective
While Dutton’s criticisms are numerous, they should be viewed critically. For instance, his claim about 29,000 business insolvencies under Labor ignores that the rate is similar to pre-pandemic levels under the Coalition, suggesting global economic factors may be more significant than Labor’s policies. Similarly, his focus on antisemitism often frames Albanese as personally responsible, despite Labor introducing laws to combat hate crimes, such as banning Nazi salutes and increasing security funding for Jewish institutions. Dutton’s warnings about immigration and energy prices also rely on fear-based rhetoric, which may not fully account for the complexity of these issues, such as global energy market dynamics or the long-term benefits of renewable energy transitions. His narrative often paints Labor as weak and ineffective, but this can be seen as a Dutton political strategy to capitalise on voter frustration rather than a fully evidence-based critique (which isn’t his forté).
Conclusion
He complains a lot.

On climate change Dutton is the pits. The Climate Council did a survey of the major parties and found the policy of the LNP to be “harmful”. Anything that had been brought up in Parliament about climate change was voted down by the LNP. The Climate Council recommend “vote for your children”.
As if ANYONE with an IQ that reaches into double digits will take any notice of the unscrupulously corrupt, rusted-on racist and pathological liar, Peter Dutton! This is an unspeakably depraved political psychopath whom even his conniving, totally amoral colleagues in the LNP cannot abide! Dutton used and abused his political power to attain and maintain a disreputable corporation, PALADIN, who is directly connected to his family to arrest and ILLEGALLY DETAIN countless, desperate asylum seekers INDEFINITELY – and without any reason or charge – in horrific, sub-standard off-shore detention camps (more like concentration camps) that were hideously under-facilitated and callously mismanaged! The ONLY people who benefited from PALADIN was the Dutton family, especially Peter Dutton who made countless MILLIONS out of his ruthless connection with this corporation. Dutton went from being a despised, racist cop (on a moderate policeman’s salary) in Queensland to becoming one of the worst, most despised, racist political sociopaths in our history managing to mysteriously – and suspiciously – acquiring a huge fortune which was enough to purchase no less than 26 properties in only 32 years! HOW THE HELL did Dutton manage it MUST be the subject of an intensive investigation!
There can be no doubt that Dutton is a heartless, openly corrupt, self-serving, megalomaniacal fascist who will, there is no doubt, defund every single benefit the ALP and our Unions have fought so hard to achieve. Dutton has already expressed and confirmed his wish to follow the repugnant demands of the corporate predators in the IPA who want to break-up, sell-off and privatise EVERYTHING taxpayers own, especially MEDICARE which Dutton and the LNP/IPA want to sell-off, privatise and turn it into a carbon copy of the hopelessly ineffective, horrendously expensive Americanised system of medical “care” that ignores the plight of ordinary working- and middle class Americans whilst only favouring wealthy members of the Top 1%! Dutton is not only a gormless, self-serving, totally unconscionable and sycophantic fan of that appalling misogynist and CONVICTED CRIMINAL, Donald Trump, he will prove to be EVERY BIT as destructive, cruel and dangerously undemocratic!
Brave, brave, brave Sir Duddy has run away, yet again. More backflips looming? Stuff a stoat. Even the evil villains in Plan Nine from Outer Space are more believable than Baldo Man.

You just have to love the articulate expressive description of Boofhead Duddo, the greatest asset for the Albanese LABOR government re-election in 2025. Naturally Grumpy Geezer will be impressed and rise to the challenge for more accuracy.
There is a real possibilty that the Boofhead ”problem” will be fixed at this 2025 election. The LIARBRAL$ incumbent has a margin of about 1.7% whittled down from about 8% two elections ago … by the same ALI FRANCE who remains the LABOR candidate.
So GOOD AIMN READERS IN QUEENSLAND:
.
VOTE 1 ALI FRANCE IN DICKSON & GIVE AUSTRALIA A CARING POLITICIAN.
NEC: I appreciate all you are trying to say. However, I fear the loss of P. Dutton, the gift to the Labor party, that keeps on gifting.
A serious dilemma. I recall reading somewhere that towards the end of WW2 all schemes for the assassination of A. Hitler were vetoed, on the plea that he was doing a great job of losing the war.
