Monash University Media Release
Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has this week launched a political party in the UK and announced his intention to attempt a political career. His party is titled ‘Britain Restoring Underlying Values’, or BRUV Party, and its website says it is guided by a “war to reclaim Britain”.
Monash researchers Dr Stephanie Wescott and Professor Steven Roberts have today published an opinion piece on Monash Lens on how Tate weaponises patriarchy and economic hardship, and misconceptions around the concept of toxic masculinity.
Dr Wescott, a lecturer in the Monash School of Education Culture and Society says that:
“The name of the party is in itself a nod to the union of powerful, influential and problematic men we have observed encircling Donald Trump and aiding his re-election, including Elon Musk, RFK Jr and Joe Rogan, and underscores that male supremacy is still a formidable political force, and one that is resurgent. The influence of Tate’s announcement should not be underestimated or dismissed, as proven by Trump’s electoral success, and the after-effects for women’s safety, including the rise of abuse of women on“Once again we observe willingness to dismiss men’s violent crimes and then potentially elect them to public office. A trend that demonstrates that a man’s abuse of women and misogynistic attitudes have no bearing on their political influence. While some might see it as nothing more than a clown show, Tate’s intentions and the Bruv Party should be broadly and widely condemned.”
Professor Roberts, Head of Monash School of Education, Culture and Society says:
“No doubt emboldened by the election win of US president-elect Donald Trump and the seemingly growing efforts of Elon Musk to influence politics in the US and Europe, Andrew Tate, an alleged human trafficker and rapist, has announced the formation of a political party, Bruv, stating his intention to run for the office of Prime Minister in the UK. Whether or not he understands that the Westminster parliamentary system, and the subsequent appointment of a PM, is fundamentally different to how the US elects a president, is unclear.
“However, this announcement, the title of the party and the campaign image of Tate using a hand gesture widely understood to symbolise male supremacy pose a significant threat to the safety of women, non-binary and gender diverse people and racial minorities. The party’s manifesto includes a suite of regressive, far-right policies that will directly result in harm and violence against people whose personhood is threatened in that document.”

Tate has been seen on various facebook posings, acting big for a wart. A defective, inadequate, undereducated, darkskulled deviate, Tate is a logical poltical choice for the deluded and desperate, one of them, only more swollen. What a grub…if, Tate is an answer, then there was never a sensible, reasonable question, except for the sanity of supporters, if any.
@ Phil,
Well said.
Unfortunately in my work with teenagers, I see the effects of his misogyny in some of the boys I interact with, who quote him as “being on their side”. Most of them are below voting age, but I do fear for the future.
His disgusting behaviour is also affecting the girls in my care, as some of them are questioning their self worth, and using his depraved utterances as their reasons to do so.
I am not commenting on Tate. What I am seeking is reliable information on Australia’s domestic responses to The World Econmic Forum and the Great Reset as well as Australia’s domestic response to UN AGENDA 2030. The Senate Committee report was scathing the government’s had not informed citizens nor developed a consultative model. From my reading of what documents I could access Australia signed up in 2015 (LNP). Alot of the things we are seeing in Australia – ie social woke agenda specifically the gender mutilated of children, public school teaching of LGBTIQ, freely accessible abortions. In addition to this the Great Reset and statements we will be happy but won’t own anything. In order to be properly informed of these issues we need to have access to the documents. Libraries do not have information. The DFAT site had a message ACCESS DENIED when trying to download documents!
… his intention to run for the office of Prime Minister in the UK.
Do it, sunshine. I want every member of the brosphere voting to directly elect you as PM for the UK.
Bev:
May I politely suggest that you take your repressive, misogynistic, pseudo-religious, conspiracy theorist attitudes and forcibly place them in a location permanently bereft of solar illumination?
Reading the research summary the researchers suggest that it’s more PR for the ‘men’s movement’ looking for excuses to whinge and moan, or ‘maintain their rage’ (Howard plagiarising Whitlam to access ageing ALP voters)?
More interesting and telling are Tate’s allies and those in a similar ecosystem, with a whiff of fossil fueled Koch and nativist far right or white Christian nationalist Tanton Network.
The latter includes Anglo RW MSM, RW parties, fossil fueled ARC Alliance for Responsible Citizeneship inc. Abbott, Howard, Peterson et al. and the ‘intellectual dark web’ including Peterson, Rogan, Jones, Brand et al. and Charles ‘bell curve’ Murray, Koch ‘free speech’ Spiked and Tanton ‘eugenics’ Pioneer Fund; social-Darwinism applied to anyone not like them.
Also known as the ‘Pinkerites’ https://www.pinkerite.com/p/who-is-behind-pinkerite_25.html
Finally there is another phenomenon that is cited often anecdotally by media, but in my opinion a red herring, ie. young males being targeted and influenced, when in fact it’s audience is far larger middle aged and older white males.
The Conversation UK suggested similar for electoral reasons middle aged (& older, especially with time to promote) white men being targeted by RW media and influencers to vote against the centre including woke and diversity. White Christian nationalism with Tanton Network tentacles of influence all over it and observed in online media comments….like J6 insurrectionists and those who follow events via RW MSM:
‘Middle-aged radicalisation: why are so many of Britain’s rioters in their 40s and 50s? ….. The radicalisation of middle-aged people is an emerging but overlooked phenomenon that has been brought to the fore by these riots, potentially because of the apparent link to the spread of misinformation online. As my ongoing research is finding, this group is vulnerable to being misled by fake news and conspiracy theories.’

all right bruv how many member are needed to form a party??
In Aust you need 1500 paid up members???
I think it’s just another way for this horrific excuse of a “man” to rake in cash from idiots.
