Israel is nearly 600 days into their genocidal ethnic cleaning of Gaza.
Upwards of fifty-four thousand are dead. All of the remaining 2,100,000 Palestinians there are approaching death from starvation, lack of medical care, no housing, no sewage facilities, no nothing. Most buildings in Gaza have been pulverized into rubble, forever burying thousands of the dead.
Israel is totally incapable of conducting this dastardly genocide on their own. They simply do not have the grisly resources to do so. But they have a Sugar Daddy, make that a Genocide Daddy, to engage in the most grotesque genocide this century.
The United States of America.
The military weapons and resources America has provided are staggering. The Israeli Defense industry reported on May 27 that the 800th plane of US weaponry arrived in Israel. 140 ships of death weapons have also arrived. That amounts to over 90,000 tons of bombs, guns and military equipment to utterly destroy sustainable life in Gaza’s once barely liveable 130 square miles.
During WWII America became known worldwide as the Arsenal of Democracy. The world’s largest arms maker, built by America’ Greatest Generation, defeated the Nazi purveyors of the worst genocide on the 20th century.
Today, America has become known worldwide as the Arsenal of Genocide. Still the world’s largest arms maker but now built by America’s worst generation of political leaders, America sustains the Israeli purveyors of the worst genocide in the 21st century.
From the Arsenal of Democracy to the Arsenal of Genocide in 80 years; a horrifying descent into moral degradation for the self-proclaimed Greatest Country on Earth.
Independent sites such as The AIMN provide a platform for public interest journalists. From its humble beginning in January 2013, The AIMN has grown into one of the most trusted and popular independent media organisations.
One of the reasons we have succeeded has been due to the support we receive from our readers through their financial contributions.
With increasing costs to maintain The AIMN, we need this continued support.

As an observer of the close relationship that Israel enjoys with USA, I suspect all press statements over Gaza when Gaza is prevented from comment.
The big question which requires scrutiny is the trigger, and lets look at it.
Who left the “gates” between Israel and Gaza unguarded and easily opened by Hamas and others on Oct. 7, and Why ?
Can anyone really believe that if Israel can track and assassinate leaders of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and other enemies around the world with ease, or plant explosives in pagers which it then has distributed to its enemies, or eliminate journalists quickly, that it somehow failed to anticipate and have intelligence about a well planned, massive and and eminent attack against Israel?
An Israeli military investigation released in 2025 would dupe us into believing that it was a 'complete failure' to protect civilians and anticipate attack and that Israel was “tricked” by Hamas.
It is more likely the other way around, given long time reported clandestine Israeli funding for Hamas as a means of creating disunity in the Palestinian political system. In addition, by funding an “enemy” Netanyahu always has the threat of Hama to use as a political tool to keep himself in power. Not o mention the Israeli operatives who infiltrated the ranks of Hamas. Hamas has not and is still not demanding the recognition of the State of Palestine and compliance with the decision of the International Court of Justice that Israel and its settles vacate Palestine. Why not ?
Lobbing ineffective missiles indiscriminately by Hamas is a violation of International Law, thus depriving Hamas of much world support, and providing a “justified” more destructive response from Israel. Hamas, for whatever reason, was totally wrong to think it could participate in a massacre without Gazans and all Palestinians paying the gruesome price. and total disregard for International Law, losing world support for its “resistance” against The Occupation.
Intelligence failure? This Israel-Gaza border is the most surveilled, observed, and armed in the world. Was this in essence a "false flag" attack promoted by the leaders of Israel in order to justify the seizure of Palestine?
Given how power crazy Netanyahu is, changing laws to escape being tried for corruption, with his long running clandestine support for Hamas to provide him a political foil, and with the over thee edge extreme mind set of the fundamentalist Zionist regime he leads, is it not plausible that the border was left unguarded on purpose? Anyone who would retaliate for the murder of a thousand and a quarter innocents with the murder of more than seventy thousand, inflict life longs scars on a million children, reduce Gaza to rubble, and try to annex the West Bank and East Jerusalem is certainly capable of such.
ON Dec. 8, 2021 the Associated Press reported that
"Israel on Tuesday announced the completion of an enhanced security barrier around the Gaza Strip designed to prevent militants from sneaking into the country."
"The 65-kilometer (40-mile) barrier includes radar systems, maritime sensors and a network of underground sensors to detect militant tunnels. Existing fencing was replaced with a 6-meter-high (6.5-yard-high) “smart fence” with sensors and cameras."
"Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced the completion of the barrier after more than three years of construction, saying it places an “iron wall” between Hamas and residents of southern Israel."
As one retired Israeli Army Commander wrote, “Something here doesn't work out for me!!! I was the commander of the Kerem Shalom (Rafih) section, I was in charge of the accumulation section, I know the fence of the system very well, I know how the army works there.”
“The fence alerts according to 3 degrees of pressure. There are forces 24/7 that are responsible for arriving in a few minutes, if not seconds to the point where there is an alert in the fence. The observers are champions of identification. They don’t miss. They recognize movement before it even approached an obstacle-day and night. So how does a Palestinian tractor move towards the fence without anyone reacting to it? How did the tractor manage to rope a fence for a long hour and open access to Israel without anyone reacting to it? How did all this happen under our noses? Where did the whole military brigade disappear ? Where were all the reserve battalions? Where did thousands of soldiers disappear??? Someone here needs to provide some explanations!”
If we believe that this Hamas surprise attack was an intelligence failure, it may be our own intelligence which is failing us.
The observations of douglas pritchard- above - sums up my thoughts entirely. The women in the observation post warned that there was suspicious movement by Hamas and their warnings were totally ignored. The invasion of that area -with hostages taken- alarming stories reported of babies being beheaded were subsequently convenient to Netanyahu's propaganda and proved to be lies.
Today , this war criminal has approved 22 new (illegal ) settlements in the West Bank.
It is the clear intention of Zionist Israel to occupy all and everything- the West Bank, Gaza. The methods they use have been sanctioned by the West to the very limits of extinction- either by bombs or starvation.
Why does Israel have control of food and medicinal aid anyway. The answer is that Gaza has been an "Occupied" state by an oppressor for years.
Hamas dared to challenge this 'Occupation' and are designated as "Terrorists."Israel responded with a massive attack on civilians in Gaza.
This has suited Netanyahu's narrative for 19 years - to keep himself out of jail for other things.
These are my thoughts:
Indiscriminate slaughter of hundreds and thousands of innocent Palestinian people and taking their very land and inheritance is no better and should be compared with a certain Dictator in Germany in the 1930's who wanted to eliminate Jews.
Netanyahu and his vile government and the IDF do not care about innocent civilians, maimed or dead. When will our government as well as the world's governments stop Israel in intentional genocide and land expansion? This horror is shown nightly on TV screens.
Douglas and Judith, I have the same kind of thoughts on the ‘fence breach’ story. Israel apparently helped set up Hamas to gather intel about the PLO which was led by Yasser Arafat (Nobel Peace prize winner). Arafat was keen to negotiate the 2 State solution, he had to go. Hamas remained.
The Israeli proponents of genocide against Palestinians, use the West to help do their dirty work. They could just as well buy arms from Russia or China, but it seems it is the West that they intend to destroy. Western nations have lots of goodies, in particular land and resources. Israelis are well-established in the USA and basically ‘own’ the politics (AIPAC). They are ready to clean up any aftermath.
Western leaders are either ‘blackmailed’ or are just that dumb they cannot think through what is happening. Relying on the advice of others and not one’s own understanding comes with risk.
Keep to the facts, Israel is committing genocide and Aust is supporting it by not leveling sanctions. If that doesn’t work, expelling Israeli diplomats might.
