On Ugly Minds and Spiteful Thoughts

There are those who thrive on making others miserable and making them as insecure and spiteful as themselves. They see little of value in others and more often than not have little of value to share. In being deprived of original ideas they hang onto the belief systems and dogmas of others with much the same effort required in the use of a flotation device in heavy seas.

Not being comfortable seeing others succeed, they spread their venom liberally and freely, love gossip and deride those that make an effort. Such is human nature, and these creatures can be found amongst all genders and races.

In reducing others to their own state of personal misery they gain some sense of self-importance, much like the over-valued hindsight displayed by zealots of any kind. Not being flexible about life, they feel comfortable mired with small mindedness and seeing the world as a place to fear.

Such creatures have always existed and are essentially self-serving with a great sense of entitlement. When such entitlement is questioned or the cause of the spite examined, be careful not to arouse the pent-up aggression and the desire to vent the hatred of self. Of course, it is a choice whether to indulge such mindless behaviour, but I rather not.

There is so much beauty in this world, so many things that can be turned into positive experiences. If being an Ugly Personality pleases, so be it… as long as such Ugliness is not compulsory.

  1. I dont recognise Australia any more. Divisive, nasty and Toxic.
Politicians who blatantly lie. We know they are lying and they know that we know they are lying…. Australia is not the lucky country anymore and its certainly not “Australia Fair”. Just makes me sad when it could be so different.

  2. Reads like a definition of narcissistic personality disorder found coursing amongst political, media and social elites?

Research post Brexit showed evidence of ‘collective narcissism” when the electorate goes loopy; aided and abetted by ‘pensioner populism”.
