Engineered Nationalism: How Extremists Built the March for Australia

Blueprint illustration of engineered nationalism concept.

Introduction

Patriotism, flags, and chants of “Australia” made for glossy photos. But the March for Australia wasn’t grassroots – it was engineered. From the very beginning, white nationalist organisers conceived, designed, and managed the rallies, packaging them as mainstream while extremists held the microphones and shaped the agenda.

1. Who Was Really Behind the Rally?

The Sydney rally’s headline speaker wasn’t an “ordinary Aussie.” He was Jack Eltis, who introduced himself as state leader of White Australia.

🎥 Transcript (Video 1)

“My name is Jack Eltis. I’m the state leader for White Australia…

The average Australian is absolutely fed up…

1500 immigrants per day. Indians, Africans, Chinese – all here to exploit our land.”

Crowd chants: “Send them back! Send them back! Send them back!”

2. What Do ‘Heritage’ and ‘Re-migration’ Really Mean?

The rallies’ sleek website once contained a reference to re-migration — a white nationalist code calling for the forced repatriation of non-European migrants. The phrase was scrubbed when noticed, but livestreams confirmed the intent.

Organiser Beck Walker (aka Beck Freedom):

“Protect Australian heritage, culture, way of life.

Next: protect European heritage.

Next: protect white heritage.

It all means the same thing – just articulated differently so it doesn’t sound like a Nazi rally.”

3. How Extremists Recruit Through These Events

Image laundering: placing extremists among ordinary marchers.

Normalising chants: slogans like “Send them back” slip into public discourse.

Propaganda: photographs of mixed crowds become recruitment posters.

4. Who Helped Give Them Cover?

When politicians like Bob Katter and John Ruddick attended, extremists gained legitimacy.

Meanwhile, Matthew Camenzuli hyped the Sydney rally as “great vibes” and “ordinary Australians.”

But the footage shows a modest crowd, not “tens of thousands.” Opportunistic spin, engineered optics.

5. Were Ordinary People Stooged?

Yes. Many believed they were showing pride in Australia. Instead, they were used as props. Had they known White Australia leaders would be on stage and neo-Nazis present, many would have stayed home.

6. How the Media Misframed It

Headlines said: “Chaotic scenes,” “violent brawls,” “counter-protesters face off with marchers.”

Reality:

Provocations – bottles, flag burning, Nazi salutes – came from March for Australia participants.

Counter-protesters mostly stood behind police lines, responding only when attacked.

Police responses (pepper spray, horses, rubber bullets) inflated the spectacle.

Internal conflict: March for Australia groups brawled with each other – reports confirmed neo-Nazis turning on nationalist organisers. This wasn’t a unified patriotic front; it was a movement fracturing in real time.

Numbers: Media avoided giving real counter-protester counts in Melbourne, leaving the “clashes” narrative exaggerated and vague.

“Clashes” made it sound like two equal sides. In truth, much of the violence came from March for Australia participants – including against themselves – with counter-protesters minimally responding.

Conclusion

The March for Australia was not hijacked. It was engineered – from initial concept to final chant – by extremist organisers. They crafted a façade of patriotism to disguise white nationalism, stooged ordinary attendees into providing cover, and used the media’s hunger for “clashes” to magnify their reach.

But the cracks are already showing. Much of the brawling wasn’t even between protesters and counter-protesters – it was March for Australia participants fighting each other. That isn’t a movement growing stronger; it’s one collapsing under its own contradictions.

Most Australians can sense the manipulation. But some, seduced by the packaging, may not realise they’ve been stooged. The danger is not the crowd sizes, but the slow normalisation of extremist ideas inch by inch.

  1. “Nationalism” isn’t new, it has always been there and raises it’s head in line with the people’s frustration. The level of frustration is on the increase world wide, which is why authoritarianism is on the increase. Governments are trying to keep control. Growth in all it’s form is putting pressure on society and until we acknowledge the fact that you cannot have continual growth, things will only get worse.
Groups like the Klu Klux Klan, Nazis, the Mau Mau and Zionists are all a products of fear and frustration, in it’s own way, America turning to Trumpism is just another example.

  2. This is all about creating havoc to “wedge” the Labor Government on law and order. Police responses will bring screams of brutality and the media will zero in to get the best photos for the nightly “news”. The “protests” will continue right up to the next state and federal elections when hey! presto! the LNP knights in shining armour will come to the rescue then we will be back to total lockdown again.

  3. I’ve spent a lifetime sorting the trash from the rubbish as to reactionary tactics and bullsh-t.

    jonangle points the way…

  4. The problem that most people who support these rallies are conditioned or intellectually lazy and don’t see what’s REALLY going on. Immigrants are not responsible for factories closing or jobs being sent offshore. Billionaires are.
But notice one thing. If you saw an Anglo-New Zealander on the street, you don’t know that they’re an immigrant until you hear them speak. 1500 New Zealanders per day could immigrate and people wouldn’t say anything. These agitators are looking for easy targets.

  5. The organizing groups are headed by mindless spoiled potty-sitters – dullard self-loathers who rather than the hard yards of doing anything constructive or positive for themselves and society, latch on to fascism and its tiresome performative emblems and diatribes, just so they can stand out – “Look at me!”

They have no wit or reasoned philosophy, just mimicry and loud hailers by which to con and press-gang frustrated unfortunates. Then, as the core of a mob, with sticks and turds, they target all/any humanitarians, peaceniks, or isolated ‘others’ just going about their lives.

Truly, a vacant minded and pathetic breed, whose targeted prey, to big ’emselves up, is frustrated unfortunates.

  6. Xenophobia appears to be hard-wired into human beings. Asian countries resist the immigration of foreigners into their communities just as much as western countries do.

The racism that was foundational to the western colonial enterprises of the last several hundreds of years was also a function of the fear of the other; different features, languages, customs, all contributed to the willingness to suppress by violent means. A story as old as Methuselah.

Until humanity manages to move up a step or three vis-à-vis intellectual & emotional maturity, until it recognizes that in reality we’re all one, we’re destined to remain at this stage of semi-savagery wrt this topic.

And, unfortunately, there is no mass improvement possible, instead, the move towards awakening and developing conscience and consciousness is an individual endeavour. Ergo, as Sonny & Cher lamented, the beat goes on.
